  1. The information about the state had been missing after a previous update, but is restored now. That is very nice! The informations about terrain, difficulty, date of placement and last found are no longer displayed all at once like they had been before the last update. That's not nice. Have a nice day!
  2. The list of caches found by me used to contain a lot of useful information, like the state and country of each cache, also the difficulty, terrain, date of placement, date of my find and date of my find. Why are these informations no longer displayed on the page? This makes the finds shallow. Is this an attempt to piss off users??? When will these information be restored onto the list? Have a nice day!
  3. The tile selection doesn't work any more since months. The dude who was running the website doesn't respond anymore. Maybe he is dead, seriously ill, in jail or an asylum or just lost interest in the hobby. That is very bad, because I relied on it since many years. All alternative methods I found n the web are complicated, confusing and only for hackers or advanced computer programmers. Could anyone please recreate the tile selection website somewhere else?
  4. Hallo! Please help me! How can I display Czech letters? Á á Č č Ď ď É é Ě ě Í í Ň ň Ó ó Ř ř Š š Ť ť Ú ú Ů ů Ý ý Ž ž
  5. https://www.wherigofoundation.com/search/default2.aspx How can I filter for urwigo files here? Have a nice day!
  6. Hallo! In the Uwigo bilder, in the bottom left, in the list, there is "Aktuelle Objekte", which includes "Aktuellen Zone". Sometimes, this points to the current zone, sometimes not. This makes testing a cartridge with an action which could happen in more zones than one difficult. Under wich condition does "Aktuellen Zone" work? When will this mistake be fixed? BTW: the correct translation would be "Aktuelle Zone". If you click on a zone, person or item in the bottom left, its details appear on the right side. If you then click on something in te middle, something else will appear on the right side. If you then click on the same zone, person or item in the bottom left, without clicking on anything else in the bottom left before, its details do not appear on the right side. When will this mistake be fixed? Have a nice day
  7. Even this doesn't work for some users: https://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?LUID=2d07ef88-f141-4f58-9b77-ea5af72680c4
  8. Recently, a lot of error were reported from people who tried to download Wherigo cartridges to smartphones. What is going on here? When will these bugs be repaired???
  9. Ok, forget about Kosovo. The difference between Alderney and Sark seems to be the following: Both sub-jurisdictions within the Bailiwick of Guernsey have a sovereign right to raise taxes. Alderney has transferred this right to Guernsey. Sark has not. For the purpose of statistic about finances, Sark needs to be listed separately from Guernsey. Legally, Sark is not a separate country from Guernsey.
  10. Kosovo is not on this list. Sark is the only item on the list without an ISO-alpha3 code. As exceptions are made, and Sark seems to be a special case on the list, the general answer seems insufficient.
  11. Why is Sark recognized as separate country, but Alderney is not? Both islands have the same status as autonomous parts of Guernsey! Have a nice day!
  12. I speak German and English. I like to find geocaches in the Czech Republic, because it is the foreign country closest to my homezone, and there are many interesting spots. I usually do not understand the geocache descriptions in Czech. However, I was able to find two multi caches which have only Czech descriptions: https://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?wp=GC4W868&title=galgenberg https://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?wp=GC1GM9G&title=kralovka-a-dlabacov I was able to translate to essential information with babelfish, count at at stages and find the caches. However, translating is time consuming. It would be cool to find translations of other interesting Czech geocaches of other caches who have found the cache using their translation. The best idea would be a wiki of geocache description translations. I could bring in the translations of the two caches I have found and also of https://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?wp=GC2PEH8 Where and when will such a wiki be set up?
  13. I would have responded with this: "Any local cacher can achieve this challenge.". When I spoke to the reviewer, that is what I told him. He insisted of showing 10 geocachers who can log the challenge cache immediately, because they already have completed the task.
  14. I just had a quick look on what your reviewer (not me) asked you: "Weise also bitte mindestens 5, besser: 10 Cacher der Region nach, die deine Challenge erfüllen können." Translation: "Please name at least 5, better 10 local cachers, which can achieve your challenge." The reviewer explained to me in a live meeting on an event a few days ago, that was supposed to mean, I should show 10 geocachers who have completed the task.
  15. That's the rule, the reviewer cites. However, if 10 people are able to do something, doesn't mean, they've already done it.
  16. The new guideline concerning challenge caches states, that a challenge cache must be appealing and attainable to a significant number of geocachers. Citing this rule, the German reviewers demand that an owner of a new challenge cache points to 10 geocachers in his vicinity that have already attained the challenge. However, that is not what the rule demands. Attainable is not the same as attained. That raises the question: What is going on here? Either the rule, Groundspeak intended, is: Challenge cache must show a significant number of geocacher, who have already completed the challenge. In this case, the phrasing of the guideline is unneccessarily misguiding and should be altered, telling owners directly what to do. Or the German reviewers have invented a new rule, not intended by Groundspeak. Can someone from roundspeak please clarify the matter?
  17. This has the same size as http://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC4CRKK_chemnitzer-buxxxl
  18. Are these events already certified with Mega Event status, like Geocoinfest Europe in Ulm or Project Munich2014? Or are they just "planned" (hope to become Mega-Events in the future)? I don't see any published Mega-Events around either of the cities you mentioned. How can one find out? Mega Phone has been a Mega twice before: http://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC2QWKD_mega-phone http://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC2QWKF_mega-phone-ii
  19. This site has a list of Mega events with lab caches for 2014. Lab Caches Thanks for the list. Why is there no lab cache in Germany??? In my opinion, the planned Mega events MegaPhone III near Magdeburg and Mega4Kingz in Dessau-Roßlau would be good places for experiments in the lab. http://www.mega-phone3.de/ http://www.lostplaces4thekingz.de/wp/ Have a nice day!
  20. Where can I find a list of lab caches which will appear in 2014?
