OK - first of all to answer your question. Login names aren't case sensitive. I can login with markwell and Markwell. So the system doesn't know the difference between pinehurse and Pinehurst. It does however remember the login from the first time you registered. Change your name to Pinehurst1. Change your name back to Pinehurst. That should fix it.
I changed it, but it will not change again, now it is stuck Pinehurst1.

PHP fatal error occured in E:\Inetbub\Forums\GC\blablabla... s***!

Sounds like a bug. Is this reproducable? If so, please report it here.Hate to sabotage this thread but I have a similar issue, Today I made my very first cache hide and I didn't check the activate box because I wanted to make sure the cache was in place first when I came home to check the box I checked it and hit save and it told me there was a error, and erased all my info about the cache except the cache name. When I pull up the cache it says its not activated and the reviewers wont see it until it is. So how do I activated it?BishopCrew

How should one tell you when you don't tell us more details?

A LOC file is like a GPX file, but with the very basic information only, AFAIK just the cache name and coordinates. It is for those who don't have a paperless GPS device to load the whole information, this way they can at least save themselves from having to manually enter the coordinates

You have to submit your log and then scroll to it on the cache page and click "Upload pictures" (or something similar)

Hi Ian,
I would say you should wait with hiding your first Cache until you have some more finds (and some DIFFERENT finds) so that you have more experience.
About proximity: All caches have to be at least 0.1 miles (161 metres) away from each other. See the guidelines
Happy caching!

No, not really. We don't like spoilers very much here in Germany, too.[...] It may not be the same, but I was recently caching in Switzerland and a lot of the caches contain spoiler pictures, so perhaps it's equally common in Germany. [...]Mezgrman

Lol.
????????No one does it that way.
Wrong... Its a standard thats used VERY heavily, and for good reason.
It puts the individual components of the date in order of scope, and it makes it very easy to sort on without extensive hacking of the text (it requires none), things that any other date format mentioned here can't offer.
There's a reason that this format is an ISO standard and no other format is.
NVM.

AFAIK there are no special rules, every cache can be a TBH, it should just be large enoughWhat are the rules for Travel Bug hotels or depots? Do you need to use an ammo can as a container? Do you have to have special permission to hide a TBH? Inform me! ThanksMezgrman

Who would understand that?!? It's much easier that way: MjAwOC8wNC8zMA==I thought the accepted date format was 00110010001100000011000000111000001011110011000000110100001011110011001100110000.
Wouldn't this make it more standard and much easier to understand at a glance?

Actually... no. He said, "most everyone", not "most evryone". I'm sure he'd appreciate it if you don't put words in his mouth.I think most everyone else does.
Not evrey one.
What part of most don't you understand.
You said most evryone.
Close enuf.

Protocol for trackables in own cache
in How do I...?
Posted
I think that is okay, if you don't get tired of having to go to your cache every time to discover... on the contrary, it's even good for the trackables' owner so he knows it's still in the cache!
