  1. Well it had to happen, I was working with C&P to get an Arrowhead shaped Cruiserdude II made. You beat me to it. Look for mine after the 1st of the year Nice looking coin
  2. This 200-foot-long rabbit lies on the side of Colletto Fava mountain in northern Italy.
  3. Yeah, OK. Now that I post a forum about it, it's letting me in. 30 minutes I couldn't get in, and now I can??
  4. I can't get on the geocaching site, anyone else having trouble? I keep getting this Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to obtaining a connection from the pool. This may have occurred because all pooled connections were in use and max pool size was reached.
  5. OK, I write a log and post it, then I notice I left the "R" out of Shirt, must my need to correct this be advertised to everyone? Then I go in again and fix it again and then there is another [This entry was edited by Cruiserdude on Yada yada yada] What is the need for this note on the bottom of a log? And now I see I used Porpose instead of Purpose, And I can't edit that and have Edit note to remind me.. And then there is is at the bottom of a post I edit, look down there, there it is haunting me. Why is it here too?
  6. Possibly this was the first sighting. Sighting There are also many reports from the 1800's including one retold by Theodore Roosevelt in his 1893 book The Wilderness Hunter.
  7. Look at all the JEEP TB's that are missing, they are not being shown off, they are sittting on computer desks somewhere, and that person is proud to have them, all by their self.
  8. If you change the date as you log it, (the day before they picked it up) shouldn't that put your drop before their pick up?
  9. I would be glad to trade you a Cruiserdude coin, however, the image is of a Landcruiser FJ40, not a Jeep. Just email me through this site if you're interested.
  10. I found a site that makes personal dog tags, one could use these and put their coin number on it, attatch it to something like a travel bug, but not lose the coin. Finders get the Icon, thieves get thwarted. If they do steal it, just make another one.
  11. After I asked this, three of them came through Lassen county. Kind of odd, I guess they had to prove something
  12. I came across a plastic lizard with a number written on the belly, when I logged it it was a for a geocoin. Is there a rule somewhere against this?
  13. I just ordered a set of silver. Thanks
  14. Not a crossed path story, but I had a TB, "Paddle to the sea" that bounced around the country, then made it to a cache in the town I was born in, and go missing from that cache. It ended life where I stared it.
  15. I'm here to tell you that belly-aching pays off. In today's mail was a Green Jeep. Now, where to put him.
  16. I found one in town on June 30th and then on July 1st I was FTF on a cache right by my house, and found another a few miles away, it's August 4th and they're not showing a red check yet. The last four I found have no red check Yes, sometimes it takes a while.
  17. I just bought 12 of these to launch and if you go here, they are $2.00 and if you go here, they are $2.50 . I bet you can guess where I ordered mine ? I've tried that 1st site several times on three different computers, I get an error evertime I try to checkout. Anyone else have this issue?
  18. You sent for one a week ago and got one already. I'm going on 3 weeks here, do they deny people? And now you can't request one, the site says they have enough request.
  19. How do you know if your getting a Jeep TB? will it just show up in the mail? Do they send you a note saying it's comming? I sent in for one about 3 weeks ago and have seen nor heard nothing, but I see others are getting them.
  20. When I was still a muggle, I would sit in my car while my kids were in Karate class, I noticed several times people walking up a hill behind the Dojo. I always wonderd why anyone would do this, there seemed to be nothing of interest up there. Then I found the Geocaching website and noticed that there was a cache up there, GCJT30 so the next day instead of sitting there, I climbed that hill, that became my first cache find. On two other occasions I ran into cachers while searching for a cache and we all looked together.
  21. I wrote to Coinclub and they replied with this; Hi, Scott. There isn't a second edition or a second coin that was part of the issue. I'd be curious to see why they think there may be another. Mike, Rusty and I do get unmarked coins in our monthly subscriptions so we can have display editions and not worry about registering them or keeping people from writing the tracking numbers down and spamming us. Generally these only make it away from us in trades, though. Ben Fogt GeocoinClub.com So I forwarded it to the Bidder and wrote this; NAME REMOVED , here is the reply I received from the makers of the coin. You can ask them about it yourself if you still don't believe me. I'm sorry about all this confusion. About the picture I used for the auction, I received 5 coin/pin sets, I took two of the coins out of the plastic and took the picture to show the front and back of the coin. I then used Photoshop to remove the number so no one could use it, if you look close you can see the smearing on the number. I also posted this issue on the Groundspeak forum to see if anyone has received a two coin set, no one has, you can see this forum here; http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php...p;#entry2375432 I hope you can be happy with the coin and the pin, if not I will refund your money for them. To show you I have no hard feelings about this I can offer you one of my personal Cruiserdude coins for free. Scott Cruiserdude I have not heard back from them since. Hopefull they are satisfied. I have not received any feedback yet either. Thanks for all of your input.
  22. I've owned 5 Landcruiser FJ40s, right now I have two. Love the tough lil guys.
