  1. If you touch "Go" to navigate to the cache, then tap on the "trasure chest" you will find the "Show hint" button. It will not be located with the cache description. Hope this helps.
  2. Looks like it wasn't something added today. Something else was taken away. It seems as if there are no longer google maps on the cache descriptions now either.
  3. I just wanted to say a big thank you to whoever has been working on the maps. Maps seem to be loading better and faster today. I can scroll in closer than I could yesterday with the aerial views. Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! The quality of maps here at GC.Com was always a favorite feature of mine. Didn't realize it until it all went away. I hope the improvements will continue.
  4. Okay, decided to just try and make the best of it and plan a route for today using these junky maps. But I can't even get the dang map to load. My finds are still labeled as not found caches, and the enjoyment of caching is QUICKLY fading. I just spent the money in January to renew my PM, as well as the money for a new Oregon 450t. If I had known this was coming, I would have reconsidered!!! NOT HAPPY I really don't understand this step backwards to the DARK AGES!!
  5. This is the worst update ever!! I always used the hybrid maps to know where I was headed when I go out to cache. Nothing compares to Google maps. Hope Grounspeak will reconsider this move, and soon!!
  6. We have been caching since September of 2009 and have only used a Garmin Nuvi 200, and we have over 350 finds so far.I did a lot of research on "paperless caching" and found several ways to use the Nuvi. Check out this link. http://geocaching.totaltechworld.com/# We have thousands of caches loaded into our Garmin and find it very perfect for our use, but then again we live in a very urban area. We have the entire description, hints and the 5 most recent logs. We do have a premium account as well as an account with GSAK in order to make this all work. The map gets us close to the cache, and then we use the "Where am I?" feature on the Garmin that gives us our coordinates to get to GZ. We will upgrade someday in order to have longer battery life, but for now it works for us.
