  1. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! This actually worked for all my geocaches, much gratitude from Woetohice and family...sometimes Mondays are just great!
  2. Dang! The same thing just happened on my GPSMAP62ST. I upgraded the unit and now nothing will show on the map page that I've created such as waypoints or uploaded to the unit ie geocaches. The caches are on the unit, I can navigate to the geocache files while the unit is connected to my computer, I just can't get them to show up on the geocache page or on the map page...kind of a shock while deciding to go treasure hunting today. On a lark I attempted to upload a GC that is already on the unit and I got the overwrite warning saying the GC already existed, so I know the GC's haven't been deleted, I just can't get the unit to recognize them. Thanks for any help with this, I'm crushed my unit's out of commission for the time being.
  3. Hello, I recently bought a Garmin GPSMAP 62st to replace a lost GPSMAP60CSx and promptly downloaded a BM in the ".loc" format from the "geocaching.com" website, but it doesn't show up on the screen of my GPS. I did find the BM so I know I was right on top of it (I had a surveyor with me verifying the location), but I was hoping to officially log it on my GPS and the website. Thanks for your help with this:) Woetohice
  4. Hello, I picked up a TB that started in Germany and was planning to move it from Montana to Wyoming, but my trip to Wyoming got cancelled. I then gave it to a caching friend who's travelling to Barbados soon. How do I remove the TB from my inventory and get it to my friends inventory? I was thinking of doing a virtual drop so I could get it out of my inventory and my friend could do a virtual pick up...any ideas?
  5. Hello, Not new to geocaching, but don't know much about TB's, especially what is meant by "dipping" or "dipping for mileage." I hope to place my own cache before the end of the year and may iinclude one or more TB's in the cache. Thanks! Woetohice
  6. I love cacheing by bicycle, I've got a hatdtail I use for urban caches and a nice FS rig for caches way back in the mountains which is pretty popular around here...
  7. Thanks for your help, I live in Missoula, MT USA...Do you live in Europe?
  8. It means your unit has a lock on the WAAS satellite. Thanks for your help...I qppreciate it
  9. Hello, I've been bugged by this for a long time, the user manual doesn't tell you what they are and I can't find anything about this searching the internet. Thanks for any help with this.
  10. Hey Everybody, Is there something wrong with the website? If I try to get a map to come up it takes forever to show, usually it takes just seconds. The problem is occurring on both my laptop and desktop to I don't think it'a problem on this end and other websites haven't slowed. BTW, it's snowing right now in Missoula, MT Woetohice
