  1. Wait! Is there a guideline deep inside the Geo-Bible of harassing the finders? *sarcasm*
  2. Oh that cache, I was the FTF'er and it was my very first FTF too!! I was driving all over the place like a newbie trying to figure out how to get back there!! Boy that day was raining like hell and the dog near by was another story. First time and last time I saw a cache that big. The swags in there are really nice. I should stop by again and see how the trading been.
  3. I came across a few of those and didnt think twice about them. I also found a really small container glued to a M&M's candy wrapper.
  4. Garage sales. Those water jugs are water proof and cheap and ugly.
  5. Most of the ones I've noticed are around here in the Willamette Valley. They mention that it's nicer to read longer logs on their cache pages. It does make me feel they are holding a gun to my head.
  6. Its that some CO got very thin skin and they ASSUME "TFTC" as "Your cache suck" but again, they are reading too much into the line. It doesnt bothered me when someone signed my cache as only TFTC. When I am forced to write more in my log, I use the white lie. So, which is worse, TFTC or the White lie? You pick.
  7. Another one is "..." and dont forget the infamous "TFTH" or "TFTC"
  8. Round 456789098837645. It is NOT coming back even you pay Jeremy a million buck. Do I have to say anything more? ...and the cachecops will come out of the woodworks.
  9. Yep! and blame the CO for placing it there.
  10. Do nothing, but watch them on your future hides. There is too many factors in plays of why you might not see their name on the log sheets. Thats main reason I dont do anything. If it was a 5/5 hides, I would delete them in a heartbeat.
  11. That was the hardest and easiest micro at the same time! I was lucky to do this one after an event nearby
  12. No, bad bad bad idea. Dont think about it! HAHA about bank deposit box, I was thinking about that a while back but there was no way they will allowed it.
  13. I agree and want to add more to that list since I live in the same area. We got a high number of cougar sightings in Willamette valley and our local hills. Thats not counting the mts. We also got black bears, rattlesnakes, and I am sure there is more but cant think of them at this moment. Oh that story, now I understand how they got that escort ride!!!
  14. I would rate a tree cache a 5 or 4.5 in terrain if you need a tall ladder to get to the nearest limb. If the nearest limb is like 15 to 20 feet from the ground, its a 4.5 to 5 in terrain.
  15. After reading this, I went out and planted a micro! You may hate me all you want.
  16. You can ask our local group that did that Trail of the gods.
  17. I rarely read the cache page. Some of the best caches I found got little or no descriptions. Some of the best hiders are good with their hands but poor in writing skills. There is a saying that I like to use when it comes to cache pages, dont judge the book by its cover.
