EGH, hearty congratulations on your 1000th find! Hope to join you for some caching one day.

Just a quick note to let all those interested that I still plan on doing the Gem Lake Hike tomorrow (sat). I will be at the trail head at 7 am. I was just curious as to how many out there are still planning on doing the hike too. This way we will know when everyone who is going has arrived and we can start out on the hike. I will be driving a full size black GMC pickup truck with a black canopy. So I should be easy to find in the parking lot []

Yup! I remember that day very well. I also remember the evening at the restaurant in Seattle, what a surprise that was!

I dont have a life[] Truth is I have been at it awhile and I happen to live in a cache rich area, and get to travel a bit to other areas from time to time. The bottom line is I just like searching for these things and have enjoyed the places I have been and the people I have met. All in all it has been a wonderful experience for me.

Oh one more thing about the Gems Lake cache hike. Since I am an old slow guy with bad knees I will more than likely be at the trail head rather early. That way all you young fast geocachers should catch up to me about the time I arrive at the cache site.[]

Nope that wasnt me! I was with 2 other people but I was driving an all black full size GMC truck
