  1. Thanks Wilg. Your reply obviously came as I was typing!
  2. Thanks for the info so far guys - yes, it's the Official Event coin that I'm talking about. I'm also aware of what appears to be a shiny gold, which is clearly different from the (duller) bronze coin. I'm assuming these are both variants of the Attendee coin? Was there an separate LE coin, or was the LE coin actually the Attendee coin (as I do recall The Geocoin Store selling an "LE" one a couple of weeks ago)? I reckon these two coins are one and the same, but would be grateful if someone could confirm please as info on these coins seems to be a little sketchy. Thanks again folks!
  3. Hi, Could anyone tell me what versions of the above coin were produced please? The coin I'm talking about is the round one with a locomotive on it and produced by The Geocoin Store. They have a silver one advertised there, which appears to be the Regular Edition, but I was wondering what other finishes were made and which were the LE and Attendee versions (or were these one and the same)? Hope someone can help please! Thanks, Russ
  4. Received mine today - very nice coins :-) Thanks, Russ
  5. I'm pretty sure I saw an Internet Cafe in Newport last time I was there. I can make some enquiries if you want.. Russ
  6. Hmmm...so for one of these coins I'll be charged 21 dollars even before postage is added....
  7. Hi folks, Had a message from Wendy today (Dorsetgal) who tells me that she and Caesar appeared in today's Sun newspaper, in the "Yelp For Heroes" feature. She's actually away in Poland at the moment (celebrating a milestone birthday today) and so actually hasn't seen it herself. If it's of interest, you can see it online here: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/featu...32.ece?offset=2 Well done Wendy, and happy **th! Cheers, Russ
  8. 25 dollars for each coin Why?
  9. Hi, Email the coin owner explaining the situation and request the coin code (should be ok as they can see you did have it earlier) and then grab the coin, delete the incorrect log and then drop it into the correct cache. In the meantime, it might be worth posting a note on the coin's page - and also on the cache you incorrectly dropped it into - to let people know it actually isn't there. Hope that helps, Russ
  10. Yep, same here for "my finds"..
  11. I think the actual name is what is in your mailbox. Yes, it sure was and the code should be hosted at Oakcoins, so not sure what's wrong there. Perhaps you need to email them, Karin?
  12. Anyone had trouble getting the codes for these? Coincodes doesn't seem to recognise my coin number (I'm aware of the 0 and O, etc, pitfall). Perhaps the codes aren't loaded yet or something?
  13. Hi Karin, The Fire Salamander is here: http://www.thecachingplace.com/ActivateCode/getcode.asp Forum coin here: http://www.oakcoins.com/activate/ Hope that helps! Russ
  14. Any further news about the First State Caching coin code issues please? Thanks.
  15. I've also just had my Pirate coin arrive. That's good then...just the Dragonfly coin now...
  16. Sorry to ask again, but any updates on this please?? IIRC, the race is due to end in a few weeks and no-one has any idea what's going on. I bought extra coins to send on this race so wondered what was happening. Thanks.
  17. I keep all the sites where I've drawn codes from for each coin I've activated and don't have anything down for that one. That usually indicates that the codes are supplied with the coin I'm afraid. Russ
  18. Ditto here. I've just created a brand new query and although the site says it has been run, nothing has appeared amongst my emails.
  19. What's that? When they went on sale to when they all sold out?
  20. We'd certainly be interested again. Always a great night!
  21. Coin frenzy - I remember those! So much for the global recession Sounds like it might be down for a while then?
