  1. I think it would be nice if these were all medium or large caches
  2. I will take care of Clay County. I also will take care of any county nearby that needs it.
  3. If you add compare players inventory = 3 in with the items in the "and" part...it accomplishes exactly what I was looking for. I'm getting it figured out. My first one was published today. Two players completed it and enjoyed it. Mission accomplished. GC3HFN9
  4. got it figured out by adding a compare players inventory count to 3
  5. Or, can I set a limit on the number of items in an inventory? If I could set the limit to three this would accomplish the same goal.
  6. I have a total of nine items. Player needs to have a certain 3 items and only those items when they enter a zone to unlock the next zone...how would I do this. Let's say they need items 1,2 and 3 to unlock the next zone. If they have 1, 2 and 3 and nothing else....give a message and set zone D to active. If they have 1, 2, 3 and 4 they get a sorry try again. 1, 3, 4 sorry try again. If/then only seems to do one item at a time...can I do three?
  7. I found out that others use a third party builder and I am doing well with that. Thanks for the reply. I may try to do it sometime.
  8. So, I just spent the last several hours building a Wherigo. When I went to save it to a playable cartridge I got an error. I saved it, closed the builder, opened the builder and tried to open the LUA file and got this error. So, I made a new cartridge. I named it and set the starting location. I saved it. Then tried to open it. I got the same error. So, does anyone know what the issue is if it is getting corrupted with just the name and starting location?
  9. Must have just been a glitch all day yesterday. I tried today and it workd.
  10. Look at the bright side. The muggles that sign up for geocaching accounts to purposely trash/steal geocaches will more than likely switch their attention to geodetecting. I mean, would you rather take a piece of Tupperware, or something that actually has monetary value?
  11. I am trying to sign my daughter up for a basic account, but the validation emails are not being received. There are NO filters on the email address used or anything like that. Anyone else having issues with this?
  12. The name is "Off With Your Head" to give people an idea of how to access the log which is rolled up and inside the extension. GC34GFD
  13. There is a song, "deep enough to dream", by Chris Rice that I like. This is one of the verses... Awakened by a familiar sound A clumsy fly is buzzin' around He bumps the screen and he tumbles down He gathers about his wits and pride And tries again for the hundredth time 'Cause freedom calls from the other side And I smile and nod, and slowly drift away Many years ago I was signing up for an account somewhere and "clumsyfly" was taken, so I changed the "s" to a "z" and have stuck with it ever since. My wife uses jesusgirl779481 on everything. 77 because she likes 7's and 9481 is her birthday. If she is jesusgirl and I am clumzyfly...does that make our kids Holy Maggots?
  14. This is no longer available. Thanks for looking.
  15. Payment sent. I look forward to getting it.
  16. I am dropping this to $100 plus whatever shipping you want. This is the absolute lowest I will go.
  17. I bought this used for $325 two years ago. I would like to get $200 out of it, but will consider any reasonable offer. I upgraded to a 530Hcx and don't use this one anymore, though it still works great. Item located near Terre Haute, Indiana. There is a good description on the Garmin website(link below). https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?pID=182
  18. I am a volunteer firefighter of 11 years. I placed a cache at our firehouse. I am also a firefighter at the state prison that I work at. I'm also a bloodhound handler for our county K9 response team. I have never used a GPSr for firefighting, but I learned of geocaching at a K9 training event. GPS is a very important part of search and rescue. Geocaching is used as a tool for training the eye to see things that are "not quite right" or "out of place" and helps when you are looking for someone.
  19. I actually learned of Geocaching at a trailing seminar. I have often thought of doing a cache something like this. Any dog trained to find human scent would not need a significant scent source. The container itself would have enough on it and in it. This would be easy for an article search dog. My dog is scent specific, so I guess I would have to hide a container with the scent article for stage 1 and then walk a distance and hide the final. A trained trailing dog would easily find the final after being scented on the first stage.
