I have in my possession a Travel Bug I had ordered some time ago. Had not activated it (misplaced it) now found it in my own possession, however in trying to activate it received response not in the system. Is there any expiration date for acivating a travel bug? I have all the right activation and numerical codes, but no success in activating it for current use.

I am having the same problem... no good answer from the Geocache problem solvers... have you found a solution as yet??

First of all I use rechargable batteries ~ Environmnetally a better choice. I use two "Altoids" containers.. carries 6 AA batteries. The green box, I put the recharged batteries The red box, I place the batteries which were replaced and need charging. The two box system is crush proof and gives me batteries to spare.

Don't know where to post this... try here for any suggestions or good replies to where this item is avaialbe. Was at a CITO event this past weekend, one of the visiting Cachers, had a cutsy non official>> "Parking Permit for Geocachers" complete with expiration date. fun type of item to place on the dashboard. Does anyone know of a source to order and purchase this item. jorube
