  1. Me neither, but I happened upon an old thread - maybe on Reddit - where someone was having the same issue and this is what solved it. Seems weird to me, especially since I could toggle to swivel mode (heading up) on the Map screen but couldn't get there in the Navigation screen. Strange issue!
  2. Any new feature is going to be met with a ton of feedback: some positive, some negative, some constructive. I like being able to access size, D/T, logs, and the ability to go straight to Found or DNF from the navigation screen. I can see where some would prefer to toggle it off, and that's fine. I can also see where someone else might prefer the actual cache description as an option from here. That's the beauty of a new feature - constructive feedback that makes it work for most people. I'm not saying it's perfect, just that I like the direction the app is taking here and the idea behind the feature.
  3. Okay, I figured it out. After trying everything suggested here to no avail, here's what worked. iPhone Settings > Privacy and Security > Location Services > System Services > Compass Calibration > toggle ON. Mine was toggled off for some reason. Once I toggled it on, everything behaves as I prefer. Thanks to all who replied, I really do appreciate your help.
  4. I can get it to work while viewing the map, but not while navigating. Which I don't understand because my spouse has the same phone and hers does it perfectly.
  5. Yes. Navigating to a cache behaves the same way toggled on or off. I also uninstalled-reinstalled, and it's the same.
  6. So after 12-13 years on Android, I've made the switch to iPhone. Now I have a question.... On the Android version of the app I was able to set the compass so the map moved and rotated with me, so that when I was facing in the direction of GZ it was directly at the top center of the screen. If I rotated left, GZ moved to my right. I found this feature very useful, being able to turn my body directly toward the cache rather than having the map with north "up" all the time or having to rotate it manually. I hope I'm describing that clearly. I'm able to get that to work on Cachly but not on the official iOS app. Is there something I'm missing?
