  1. Let me see. Comprehending is such frivolous task, isn't it.
  2. Sensorship???????????????? Forum moderation. Read the Forum Guidelines So modertors are allowed to behave as dictators. No one are allowed to speak their own opinions. Lei for det men nå synes jeg moderatoren gikk for langt.
  3. In MapSource you can have as many tracks as your computer can handle. I have all my tracks pr. year in one MapSource file. So far 56 different tracks this year. Cut and paste, named by the date. This can easily be exported to gpx an shows up in GE as 56 separate tracks. Just tested to be 100% sure.
  4. I am not sure about the merge, average, and then consolidate thing, but from MapSource you can export your tracks as a gpx file, which goes straight into Google Earth.
  5. If you are talking about a GPSmap60... then press Mark and edit the coordinates.
  6. On the other hand. Delete is not the only option. You could also select the option to move to another database. Might come in handy later. Never know.
  7. If you still have the specific PQ, twolpert gave you the perfect solution.
  8. Insta notify not coming thru here. And it is not only for me. Missing a few PQ's as well.
  9. For latitude .001 difference will always be about 6 ft. For latitude 0 .001 difference will be about 6 ft for longitude. Guess what it will be at the north pole! Cosinus(latitude) is your friend for longitude width. Edit: Puh this is not easy. Think it is right now.
  10. How about this one. From YouTube: Video 1
  11. There's a lot of legit reasons, make sure it looks right in other programs like gsak, gpxsonar, make sure it looks right in your .gpx supported gps, all things any web author should do before releasing their work. Absolutely. And a direct download for use in MapSource to visually check the coordinates for both the cache itself and the childpoints as well. I have seen many occations of severe errors there.
  12. It is very likely that the 2000 caches will be the ones that are read first from the consecutive gpx-file. Example: Make a filter in GSAK returning 2001+ caches. Sort by name then export to Oregon (ctrl g). GSAK eksports to gpx in the current sortet order. Power on the Oregon and be patient. The initial boot may take a few minutes. It is not hanging. Go to find a cache. Select ABC an type in the name of cache #2000 (as seen in GSAK) and it will show. Then do the same for #2001 and it will not show.
  13. Delete them on your unit. Setup > Reset > Delete All Waypoints.

  17. About the DBD There has been a cascade of beta updates to the Oregon. Not all of them were good. The latest non beta version is now 3.10. To me that seems to be a fairly good version. I will recommend you to try that one.
