2 questions come to mind. Is there any provision for adopting a cache where the CO has not signed in for years? Can a CO be punished for not maintaining their cache, for example: no new caches to be approved until others are maintained?

Go to geocaching.com on the left side of the page is a list of places to go. Click on Hide & Seek a Cache, on the right side it will say Hide a Cache click on the online form and fill it out, you might want to read "how to hide a cache".

We have 2 FTF coins that we activated but told finders that if they wanted to keep it we would deactivate it. Unfortunately. I didn't find a place to delete them. We really wanted to see how far a FTF coin could travel after having been placed in new hides. Quess we goofed up by activating them.

When we were brand new to caching, a few months ago, we were in a town that borders with Mexico. At this time we didn't realize that sometimes you can't get to a cache from where you are. We were on a dirt road and all of a sudden there was a Border Patrol vehicle behind us. We stopped and talked with the officer, explained what we were doing, we had print outs and hoped she wouldn't ask our names, our daughter works for customs and we wouldn't want to embarrass her. She told us how to get back to the main road and we finally found the cache.

I have to do my updates using Firefox instead of Internet Explorer.
