  1. My 2 cents worth is that I will certainly miss it. I am one of those that used it semi-regularly to check areas that I hadn't downloaded yet and needed to do a check, get coord etc to get the best results for a PQ. Fast and useful as I already use the tool for planning trips etc. as it has a whole lot more info than just mapping so you can coordinate sight seeing and caching. I didn't do probably more than a few pans at a time. Hopefully a new solution will present itself soon.
  2. I can't seem to see any of the routes that I am selecting (either my own or public ones) on the map when I select them. Perhaps I am missing something. Also, cannot create a kml file so I can look in Google Earth (I get an error message Sorry! We encountered an error when requesting that page!) If I try to create a gpx file, the gpx file that is created has no information. When I select a route to create a query, the words View Associated Route look like they should be a link but are not. How do I see what the route encompasses?
  3. I have also been having this problem. I uninstalled Googleearth, reinstalled it and then downloaded a fresh copy of the kml, deleted caches, cleared caches, changed settings, all to no avail. I suspect this is a gc.om issue, not a google issue, but there seems to be some reluctance to dealt with it as such.
  4. I use an Ique 3600 which is a Garmin Palm unit with the GPS built in. I am a premium member of Groundspeak and download 2 or 3 different queries which I convert to Palm databases using Cachemate converter (part of Cachemate program). I then send them to my Palm. The Cachemate software shows me past log, hints, info etc. and because my unit is also my GPS, I use CacheNav (again part of Cachemate) to do the actual navigating to the cache. I noticed some people use GSAK, but I am not sure what that does for me with the built-in GPS. Perhaps someone could enlighten me.
