  1. I will check my records tonight and give you the date the package was mailed. It has been at least a week or more, so you should be seeing it by now. Please let me know and for the good of the community please post here when this is resolved. thanks
  2. okay, let's try the pictures again. copper obverse: black nickel: polished nickel:
  3. I will work on the photos, meanwhile they are on my cointracking.com profile and should show up soon on geocoincollection.com. bugs

  5. that is disturbing. yours was mailed on 2/2. I will dig out the confirmation and let you know.
  6. We are delighted to announce that the coin project is now solidly in the black. We have close to $400 net profit that will benefit the Chapter and sales are still strong. We will now enter the LE phase which should put us over the top of our $1,000 fund raising goal. This is the plan: we have LE coins in three metals, 15 of each (copper, polished nickel, black nickel) Anyone who purchased a standard coin may purchase one LE. We are asking the almost embarrasingly high price of $22 but please remember this is a fund raiser. After a reasonable period of time (about a week) we will offer the LE purchasers the opportunity to buy additional remaining LE coins that are not sold and paid for. Finally, any LE coins not sold to prior purchasers will be offered via an auction at a later date. post your requets here and make paypal payments as before. many thanks from all the volunteers and staff at the Chapter
  7. you just made my day. thanks
  8. got it. Thanks we had a slight change in plans and went live on the other site. We will continue to honor orders placed on this forum for the time being. Once again, thanks to everyone for your support
  9. Another batch of coins went out today, so many of your should be seeing coins early next week. There are still about 15 people I have not heard from regarding payment. Let me know if you need a Paypal invoice or want to arrange another method of payment (Scotty's beam me some dollars service?) The plan is to wait until mid week and then shift the sales over to another venue, where there will be a small S/H charge added. At that time I will cease to take orders here. I'm not sure how long it takes for the logo thing to start appearing on GC. Anyone know about that? Is there something I am supposed to do or does C & P do all that? We are very gratified by all the kind words of support. Thanks to all of you.
  10. I will continue to send out more Paypal requests. We still have 88 coins remaining so no need to worry. You can also initiate a Paypal by sending $12 per coin to this email address: mr.bug"AT"comcast.net (substitute @ for the"AT") here is a better image of the coin:
  11. Here is a picture of the coin:
  12. The coins have arrived, earlier than expected I might add. They are every bit as beautiful as we had hoped for. Good job Coins and Pins! The plan is to offer 5 of the standard bronze coins on eBay later today. While that auction is in process I will place all the reservations noted on this forum on a spreadsheet and then make an announcement the week of February 5th asking for payments. coins will be shipped thereafter. On February 15th I will offer any remaining coins for sale on one of the coin tracking sites. I will get some images of the actual coins uploaded very soon. We have LE coins in Copper, Black Nickel and Polished Nickel (15 of each metal) These coins will be offered on eBay later in the month in hopes that we can raise some big bucks for the Mount Rainier Chapter. I usually don't like the polished nickel as much as other metals, but for whatever reason, almost everyone who has seen the coins thinks the polished nickel is the best coin. Once again, thanks for your overwhelming support of the Mount Rainier Chapter of the American Red Cross. When this all concludes I will let you know how much we able to raise for the chapter 2bugs
  13. Instead of reservations, I will announce the sale here on this forum and honor these orders first, with priortity given in order of posts and payments. It looks like we are still well within the margin of error to have all of your requests honored. after a reasonable amount of time, say two weeks. I will offer the remainder out to the world. My only request is that if you buy multiple coins, please don't compete against us on eBay. Remember, this is a Red Cross fund raiser and we are hoping a few eBay sales will help us get to our goal. I guess I can't stop you from doing the eBay thing, once you buy it, it is yours, but I can ask...pretty please. Again, any questions you have that I have not answered here you can contact me at the Mount Rainier Chapter of the American Red Cross or email me back channel once again, thanks to all of you for your overwhelming support and please give some thought to enrolling in a First Aid/CPR class at your local chapter. You just never know when you are going to need the training. I had to put my first aid skills to work less than two weeks after my first class. The outcome could have been far worse if I did not have that simple training. Consider taking 8 hours to learn some techniques that could save the life of someone you love, or maybe even your mother-in-law ~ Badda Bing! Chuck Hammonds mrdotbugatcomcastdotnet
  14. here is the icon. Activation will be at coincodes.com
  15. Regarding the questions about the Red Cross coin, it is 1 1/2", it will be trackable and the price will be $12. There will be 200 standard issue coins, of which 175 will be offered for sale and 25 kept for chapter use. The LE Metals (15 of each) will be available on eBay. All profits benefit the American Red Cross Mount Rainier Chapter. If you have questions I can be contacted at the chapter using this address: chammonds @ rainier-redcross.org. I will post the artwork for the icon tomorrow. we plan to offer the first 5 standard coins on eBay before a general release in late February. I think it would be appropriate to honor the orders placed here before opening it up for sales to everyone. How does that sound? Mr Bug aka Chuck Hammonds
  16. the final artwork was approved and the order placed on January 19th. the coins should arrive in late February. Thanks to all for the kind words
  17. That is a great idea. we have official Red Cross Certificates at the chapter. I could easily print the buyers name on the certificate and send one with each coin bought at a level above $12. The certificates costs about seventy five cents or so plus additional postage but that would work Chuck
  18. We have a new coin in the works. All net proceeds will benefit the Mount Rainier Chapter of the American Red Cross. The coin is trackable and will have a distinctive icon. My question for this group is: Do you think $12 including domestic shipping is too much to ask considering the circumstances? We are debating if this price is too high and will discourage sales of all 200 coins but we would like to make as much money as possible for the chapter. We also want to raise awareness that every cacher should get trained in first aid and CPR. You never know when this training could save a life, especially when you are on your own out in the woods looking for tupperware. your comments are appreciated
  19. We have all three sets...love them. They are displayed on the first page of one of our books. Great job guys, especially those LE Radium coins, man do they ever light up the room.
