Lurker???? I am more of a 'nearly clueless' observer. I have just recently gotten involved in geocaching with my Jr Girl Scout troop. Man, we LOVE it!! But I have had some issues working out the finer details of geocaching. I am not really interested in the pages of disgruntled cachers because frankly, we are still having so much fun that I don't have anything to be disgruntled about!!! LOL. All in all, it is a fun site and I have enjoyed the info I have recieved. Thanks all, The GeoGirls Leader

I am the Leader of a Girl Scout troop that has recent joined the world of Geocaching. We LOVE it!! I even invested in an eTrex GPS to point us in the right direction. THAT being the nature of my question......I can get the GPS to read up until about 30 feet of my destination but after that it seems to be a free for all. What should I do to help us narrow down the range of where we are searching. We have already had several disappointments in hunting down caches because we simply can't find them. Are there some tips that we should consider when searching, is there a trick to having the GPS read closer to the site, Please give me any and all feedback you can think of to help us with our adventures.
