There still seems to be one in a cache in the same park where we got ours! UNBELIEVABLE! It's been there 3 days! LOL!! No logs after the Geo_Leprechaun. Any takers? LOL!!

WOO HOOO!!! We have been following the travels of the elusive Geo_Leprechaun. We were heading out to replace one of the stages on our multi, and saw the Geo_Leprechaun had visited 2 caches in the same park we were heading to! We crossed our fingers, and made the 30 minute trip in 20 minutes! LOL!! We decided to check the closest cache first, hoping the coin was still there. Guess the Luck of the Irish was with us, because when we opened the cache, there it was, shining in the sunlight in all it's glory! #47! Now we have to watch to see who gets the other one! LOL!! THANKS Geo_Leprechaun! REALLY cute coin! We propped the coin in a tree to take the picture, so we didn't give away the final stage of the multi it was in! (GCKJ15) [/size]

ANOTHER fun thread! Boy, who ever thought that ordering coins could get your blood boiling in the morning! ALMOST as good as that first cup of coffee!! LOL!! Thanks for the thoughts. I do appreciate the opinions. A few things I'll comment on: 1) I'm not sure that I "owe" anything to the community. I think I do give a lot, but I understand your point of view. 2) My comment about being available to everybody was meant in the sense that everybody had a fair shot at them. There was no exclusivity in the sale (and lack of trading). 3) Reminting causes issues any way you slice it. Redoing one metal, lessens the trade value of that metal because there are now more of them. Redoing both does that to both. Doing a NEW metal causes grief in the sense that the same frenzy will occur all over again for the new metal (or so it would seem) 4) Redoing a metal also makes the coins I will have listed on eBay tonight seem like taking advantage of the situation (by potentially collecting a lot of money on these because they are "HTF", and then making more) Again, it's been less than 24 hours since this whole thing happened and I'm not in a position to make a final decision at this point, but you can see where I stand right now. Ooh, the PLE (parmesan limited edition)! You could always remint them in sterling silver! That will seperate the people who REALLY want the coin for their collection from the ones who just want to flame those who have them. (we weren't one of the lucky ones on this coin, but WOULD buy one in silver )

Even though we did not get any,we find the threads about this coin so entertaining,it was worth it! LOL!! Just a suggestion, but it may be a good idea to list the sale time like this; coin will be up between 4-8 P.M. That way you stop a massive hit at the same minute.You will still deal with the snowball effect,BUT it will not be an AVALANCHE! No new server,and more fair. Makes for more happy customers.(We do consult for a small fee ) One other thing.We noticed a couple of folks that complained about E-Bayers have actually asked us how to go about it. LOVE THESE THREADS!!!LOL!! (Edited for speeeling! LOL!)

Neither did we! And we were on the site early waiting! When coins started coming up and we went to change pages(didn't even have to wink at F5) POOF we got kicked out and couldn't even get back in!
