  1. As I, and others say, would you place a Rolex, or other family heirloom, in a cache and then publish to the world where it may be found?
  2. Go then, tell us all what inspires you.......given that " I guess it takes all kinds"...... By "stationary" do you mean stuff that doesn't move?
  3. Don't get me going!!! You've opened another can of worms there........................
  4. One could argue, that given the name "bridle path" they have more "right" than anyone else. But,..."footpath", "roadway"? Personally, I've never taken a bridle for a walk, nor it me, although a few have been attached to horses which took me for walks or faster. Where did "walk" come into it? "Bridle path" is a path for bridles, (presumably attached to horses). "Footpath" is a path for foot. "Path": noun: a line or route along which something travels or moves

  6. What do you mean by "find"? Notification or physical location?
  7. Are we now saying that every cache, and it's contents, should cater to children? 5 or 6 years ago the biggest single "whinge" on this board was the number of caches that contained cheap kids toys.
  8. A microwave irritation by the looks of it! Did you get Health and Safety approval for that one?
  9. Totally disagree!! If a cache is "dangerous", traffic, snakes, health hazard etc., then the the cacher has a duty to report it to prevent accidents to others. E-Mailing the cache setter does not suffice - what if he is away on holiday for a couple of weeks?
  10. Ever tried to watch Sky TV in a heavy downpour? A home Sky dish is a high gain directional antenna pointed at a stationary object. What chance does a tiny, non directional, antenna have in such occluded conditions?
  11. There again, I have a TB that in 2004 took a Sabbatical for nearly three years before resuming it's travels - and still travelling.
  12. End of Year report UK geocaching lost a lot in the sudden demise of Eckington and Lactodorum.
  13. You are not converting correctly! N52 37.752 is equivalent to N52.6292 E001 17.128 is equivalent to E1.28546
  14. As you now have it perhaps you could review it for the rest of us.
  15. Err, maybe the Palm website or maybe the Microsoft website?
  16. If I knew what a preform was I may be able to help - but probably not.
