  1. Here's one from me. Taken yesterday as we walked to find this one GCNXDZ. I love this photos as it pretty much captures why we love geocaching - beautiful places, and hanging out as a family.
  2. Here are some examples of ours, we have lots more with different pics such as hay bales, highland cows, etc. My photography this evening is a bit out of focus it seems. Woops. These are half a business card in size, our own photography, with a flag pin attached (we're Aussies living in Scotland). On the back is printed our caching name etc. Had them printed at moo, and the pins were bought in bulk from Germany.
  3. Thanks for the replies about the Australian flag pins. If I didn't have anything of equal value, I'd just leave the pin and take nothing.
  4. Out of curiousity, would you consider an Australian flag pin to be a decent swap? I'm thinking of ordering some of these. Thanks
  5. I'm a complete newby at Geaocaching (started on the weekend and we found 4 didn't find 2), but as a newly starting out family with 3 young children I think it would be handy that if you set a micro somwhere, that the hint is very specific. I found this hobby just last week, and thought it would be a fabulous way to enthuse my children (aged 6, 3 and just 5 months) a bit more when we're spending time outdoors walking, exploring, and taking road trips. However, I think the novelty will soon wear off if they are continually disapointed about not being able to find the cache.
