  1. Groundspeak should open up webcam caches for one day, lol, I have at least two PERFECT webcam caches I can think of right now. Oh well...
  2. I am bummed to say I won't be able to make it either. I work at the seahawks home games and unless something comes up, I have to be there. Sounds like a great time though, enjoy
  3. I hate to go back to record collecting, but I probably have 5-10 records right this second that I've already paid for weeks ago and don't expect to see for a few more weeks. You pick and choose who you want to send your money to early, here or there. I'm okay with pre-ordering stuff as long as it's someone reputable. Obviously, always some risk, no matter how nice a person has been or what kind of reputation they have. I just dislike it when an artist will sell LE's for $5 more than the rest. How about the first 50 people who buy the coin, to basically pay for the mint, get the dibs on the LE. Limit one per person and then anyone who wants an LE after that can trade or deal with eBay.
  4. I was going to type up a huge long story about how I collect vinyl, etc... But regardless, I care about minting numbers and have passed on coins in the past when the artist won't release minting numbers. I prefer to have a more limited version of a coin for various reasons. So yeah, just adding in my two cents
  5. Just got my invoice for this newest batch, can't wait!
  6. of course, double post... I'd still suggest the premium membership, heh
  7. Alright! Here ya go, GC1YQ90 enjoy!
  8. This is a challenge cache which is for premium members only. I'm not sure if posting the GC number is allowed and even if I did, I'm not sure if much would show up for ya. I'd suggest looking into becoming a premium member as there are quite a few benefits: http://www.geocaching.com/membership/comparison.aspx The gist of the challenge is to log 101 caches along hwy 101, add them all into a bookmark. The caches must be within .5 miles of hwy 101, which would be easy to figure out being a premium member Hope that helps... I've done a fair number along hwy 101 and need to start creating a list myself...
  9. Had lots of fun today. Thanks again!
  10. Did a move a couple months ago and noticed I was waiting on a couple things, so I called up my old post office asked ifthey had anything. They did! One, a letter from Mr. Gray! Hope I'm not too late' sending money now!
  11. Is there any place keeping track of all of these? Like a wiki or a thread somewhere? PS How long should we wait for the souvenirs to pop up? I drove to Seattle and paid for parking to get one of the crush caches and never got the souvenir Which, obviously, in the long run, isn't a big deal, but figured I'd ask...
  12. I finally got into the forums, not sure what I did different. After doing some searches on there, it does appear that some waymarks can be approved in mere minutes, others might never. To me, this peer review process is somewhat flawed making it frustrating for a newer user like myself. I'm not sure why I need to email multiple people, do research on this reviewer and track them down if my waymark hasn't been approved in a month. Has to be an easier way. Think I'll pass on this whole Waymarking deal for now and figure someway to incorporate these art installations into a multi or challenge cache of some sort.
  13. So I had one issue, that turned into two with the Waymarking site. I created a waymark over two weeks ago and it has yet to be approved. Is this normal? This seems like a huge hassle to me and to be honest, not really worth the time or effort in creating them if they never see the light of day. So I figured I would ask THAT question on the Waymarking forums, but I've never been able to log in or join. When I use my login for the Waymarking site, same as here, it says the account has either been blocked or not setup. So when I click join, it gives me the ever popular 500 error I get elsewhere on the site. Can anyone help me out here. Was hoping to spend some time over the winter going over the 90 some art installations and various historic buildings in my community and Waymarking them all. If simple issues like these are normal, I'll just forget about it all together...
  14. Holy Cats!!! They're still alive? Those were huge fun! They were all in pretty bad shape actually. Is the CO not local anymore? It would be cool to see these get a fresh breath of life!
  15. Nice, I'll see what I can do to make this one happen.
  16. thanks, we actually got to that one and used it as a milestone, lol We hit up the cool earth cache in downtown olympia as well, very cool!
  17. Planning to do some caching between Tacoma and Olympia tomorrow and while I can throw 'em all in the GPS, I wanna know what y'all think are the best ones or the one worth stopping for. I'm gonna spend some time searching the area via the map right now, but any suggestions would be killer! Thanks!
  18. If you have access to a windows based PC, you can download GSAK and a delorme macro and it will show you everything via a map. GSAK is free to use for X amount of days, but after 20-30 days, it pops up with these little nag screens that WILL get old, lol.
  19. yup, me too! Thanks for getting a few of us motivated to move these legs of ours. Sure we all needed it!
  20. I'd suggest emailing the people who have found it if you don't get much of a response here....
  21. See everyone in the morning. I'm running the wagon with a spare tire, but I'll get there! I'll bring the trusty PN40 and try to learn a little more about this machine!
  22. I found a cache that is older than any active cache currently and I tried to log it, but Groundspeak locked it at some point, kind of bummed on that since I made a 200+ mile out of my way drive to see if it was there, which it was. Oh well, still pretty cool
  23. How about we get back to some group hikes, I miss those
  24. see more of washington than anyone else and yeah, I got a LONG way to go! Oh yeah and party hard!
  25. He's too shy to tell you, but you are his hero. So hilarious when that was posted, time for a change anyways
