Mine quit working all together will not start

Hands down Geocaching with Geosphere is the best app for iPads, iPod Touch and iPhone. You can use dropbox but you don't have to geosphere has a tab that will take you to your pocket querys direct. It also supports open caching. Check it out at the app store. I have the original wifi iPad and use the Bad Elf GPS dongle. You can use the Bad Elf on iPod Touch, iPhone as well as both iPad models. It's more accurate and has a 66-channel MTK GPS chipset Fast GPS lock times Up to 10Hz update rate SBAS/WAAS/EGNOS/MSAS Assisted GPS (when network available)

Personally I feel that Geocaching with Geosphere is the best geocaching app out there. It can access over 4000 caches and will work with the iPad and iPod Touch. Is supports pocket query downloads, field notes, highliting, multiple sorts, filters and much more. I use the Bad Elf gps for added accuracy. I have Motion X HD and several other geocaching apps including the one from Groundspeak. It seems geosphere was less than $9.00. You can create multiple Groups with geosphere, I even have a group that shows my gold claim marker locations. It allows you to snap a screen photo of the map for off line location viewing.

It is normal for me to have to hold the power button down for a couple of seconds to turn it on and off. With just a button tap it will cycle thru the backlight series. Are you holdiing the power button for several seconds?
