  1. Okay everyone... I have only one day to take a good friend out caching who will be here from Washington DC.... I am not from the Port Townsend/Sequim area...and that is where she would like to go...I have built a route builder from Tacoma to Sequim...and look forward to looking for caches along the way... Just want to make it a great adventure for her and would luv any input on good caches to go after while we are there. Like I said..we can only cache the one day and would love to make it a good experience for her. Any input is appreciated.... Thanks... Jeepgirl300
  2. I enjoy the TB's. All sorts.. I have 5 that I have out in the wild.. I think that most people are honest. I know that I sometimes end up having mine for awhile..because there are a lot more micros than smalls and regs. I never even thought about dippin for mileage until someone did that for my bug. So now I know. I don't think they are going to go extinct.. I just think that there are different types of cachers out there.
  3. I generally go caching by myself. I usually go in the early am 4-6am... I figure most bad people are sleeping in....and not so much early risers. On that note tho if I don't have a good feeling about the location I will come back at a later time in the day.
  4. I am asking before I do, in hopes of not freezing up my gps.. I have a Dakota 20 (love it btw) I may have this in the wrong section...but i hope not...still kinda new to all this...here goes.. When you make multiple PQs that may overlap...after you download them to your GPS will they put mulitples of the same waypoints on your GPS? Or will the GPS be able to decipher that there are multiples of the same thing and not put TWO waypoints? I am trying to make an expanded list of caches that cover my work travel area and don't want to waste room with multiples of the same place. If there is a better way to do this can someone give me some input. Just want to load as many caches as possible, because I never know exactly where my work will take me. Thanks for your time, Jeepgirl300
