  1. Going along with your line of thought, possibly a memorial cache, multi cache or a series of memorial caches would be more fitting. It eliminates the coin collector problem and still allows an opportunity for those who knew him to say a few words in rememberance in the log. Likewise it provides another cache or caches for those that didn't know him to seek out and locate which from what I am understanding in this thread is what he was all about anyway. That could be a nice tribute to his memory. Already in the process of doing that.
  2. Hey Brae, You got our team name spelled wrong. It's jamrasc. You have an s instead of the r. Can't leave the 6 year old out

  6. All the caches at AJ and Bear Creek have been removed.
  7. We and another local cacher offered to adopt them way back when and the owner never went through with the process. If he/she was willing to adopt them to, why don't you just fix up whatevers there and submit it as caches of your own. Or remove the pieces so they don't become unvisited geolitter . In the process of doing so. Just got back from out of state to discover they had been archived and were in question, so we'll take care of them.

  9. Parrolet is in Rock Hill. I don't know of anyone in York. We are in Lancaster and have the SCPC that SgtSue mentioned. Matter of fact, we should be having an event soon that you are more then welcome to come to and learn more about geocaching.

  11. The one we got wants to go to La Virginia, Colombia.
  12. We are close to Clt, but I've never heard of them or met them. Sorry I can't help.
  13. I wish my area would get saturated. Most of the hides are ours, we need more cachers and caches.
  14. I love caching in the Fall & Winter. The best time of year for us. No bugs, snakes, or other critters. No leaves on the trees and most of all cooler temps. It is way too hot here in the summer to really have fun caching, but the winter, it rocks!!
  15. I enjoy them. I've learned a lot by solving them, things I never knew or would have learned if it weren't for the puzzle caches.
  16. SC_Reviewer, puts up with a lot of junk and is great to deal with.
  17. Our's only has 513.2 miles on it since being released in March.
  18. Is that the soccer one or a different coin? Thanks.
  19. Franz, what coins do you have to give away still?
  20. I really wish we could have helped out, but had other obligations that day. Hopefully next time help is needed we'll be available.
  21. Do you know the waypoinst for any? The ones I knew of and did got archived when the legislation started. How about taking it to PM. The author of the legislation is still in office and I'm sure still employ the same staff. No need to make their jobs any easier. No problem.

  23. I don't even think those are allowed anymore. There were some great caches like that, were the cemetery info was pretty much a virtual and then the final cache was someplace else. Those have since been archived. I miss those types of caches. There are some great folks in the Charleston area that will definately be helpful to your sister. Lots of great, challenging caches down there too.
