I've just had an email inviting me to renew my premium membership. Last year the price was the same (in US$) no matter where in the world you were located. This year the prices vary in some countries. In the US and many other countries the price for a year is $ (US dollar) 29.99. In the European Union the price is € (euro) 29.99 - roughly equal to $ (US dollar) 41.41. In the UK the price is £ (UK pound) 24.99 - roughly equal to $ (US dollar) 41.88. Why is the price so different?

The new maps make me really angry - they are so useless. Why can't maps be as they were before? I want to run a PQ and see only the caches I want to see, then be able to click on selected caches and go to those cache pages for the details. The 'upgrade' is an absolute failure. I'm wanting to cache tomorrow and go only for caches of certain levels. I've spent two hours and still not got what I want. With the previous maps I could have done it in about 5 minutes.

I use Firefox (3.6.13) and now I can't see the large map on a cache page, I can't decrypt the hint on a cache page, and I can't see the map on http://www.geocaching.com/map/. Works OK in Windows Explorer - but I'd prefer to use Firefox.
