  1. This should be alot of fun, and we may all be famous
  2. Since when are people free to keep something that doesn't belong to them? I understood that people were free to keep the YJTBs and I assumed that it is the same with the WJTBs. This is news to me. Could you please point me to where It says that? you are free to keep a WJTB in the same way you can keep a rental car. does not make it right, but you can do it. Apples to oranges, You are under contract to return a rental car and they have a credit card number. Anytime you put something in a box and hide it but post the coordinates for others to come and find it I would say your pretty much giving up the rights to it. I to am a firm believer in keeping TB’s and Jeeps moving and I think briansnat was just a little confused about the Jeeps, but I really don’t understand when people get so upset when things go missing, I believe it’s the risk you take when you post the coordinates to something you have left to be took on the world wide web, but that’s just my thoughts.

  9. So is the best place to park at the Hyak trail head area? or is there one that is closer? Thanks for any advice
  10. If there is enough interest I'll toss 2 canoes on the truck capable of holding 3 each and I have enough PFD's to go around. And the production gathers speed. I would love to claim a seat in one of your canoe's and do that cache.
  11. Quick question, is anyone doing this on a bike or is the whole group going to walk?

  16. The Second rule about off topic is YOU DONT TALK ABOUT off Topic Okay I'm sorry but I like Kealia and someone had to do it
  17. Yup. Sorry, Defender, I'm with Pasha on this one. As a former Marine, Allanon's post doesn't bother me at all. I've had plenty of military colleagues whom I wouldn't trust to properly tie a shoelace, let alone to protect my life. I'm so sorry I offended the "vets" That was not my intention, it was to simply say that not trading a geo-coin has nothing to do with someones ability to defend this nation or its people, but I will keep you guys in mind the next time I stick up for the military.
  18. Keep your personal feelings about the caliber of people who serve in the US MILITARY out of these theads, unless of course you would like to join and spend some time in a combat zone............NO I didnt think so. I know "this Cav Scout" person and can say I would trust him with my life before the vast majority of the people who post on these threads. I will get off my soap box and yes I'm sure I will be warned but when you attack one member of the US Armed Forces we all take it personal.
  19. Being in the Military I have more camelbaks than I know what to do with, from the 50 oz to 100 oz size, I a have never had a problem with a single one of them, in fact I ran one over with a HUMMVE (I read in backpacker magazine, camelbak had the strongest bladder) I wanted to test the theory for myself. The bladder held up just fine, in fact I parked it right on it and it still didnt burst. As for the taste I have never had a problem.
  20. I think there are already too many caches full of crap nobody wants. Around here we have a guy who trades old golf balls that he finds in the woods. He has more balls than I have. And if I find one more McDonalds toy in a cache, I'm going to McBarf. I try to put some thought into my caches:antenna: and I try to put similar effort into the trading items I start out with. My Boston Marathon caches all have (or at least had) running-related stuff in them. A cache I placed last Fall was tough enough that I put a twenty in there for FTF. A cache I'm working on now is going to be extremely difficult, and I'm seriously considering a $100 bill for the FTF. I realize not everyone is this serious about their caches, and I have set out low-cost caches too, but lack of ready funds is no excuse for lame trading items, either from the cache owner or the finders. One of my favorite things to find in our area is little origami items. The cacher who puts these out has taken the trouble to learn the (simple yet graceful) skill of Japanese paper folding. It costs very little, and it's really cool. Plus s/he occasionally tucks a Where's George dollar inside the folded paper item. Wish I'd thought of that! Amen, I've said it before and I will say it again, I'm so sick of McToys and plastic unicorns, yes I know this a family activity, but I now have a hard time getting my 7yr old to go because she is sick of "cheap toys" If I want a McToy that bad I'll go to Mcdonalds and get a happy meal, at least that way I get the burger and fries.
  21. it's called premium membership. Try it, you'll like it. You must have a better premium membership than me, because this site runs slower than a turtle for me on sundays.
