    Have a Garmin GPS 12, software v3.53. Stuck in 1999 after the April 6 rollover. In 1999, Garmin issued a standalone .exe program which would change the date to the start date of the new sequence. Any chance Garmin might be able to have one of the software folks find the source code, change the date provide an update program?
