I have an iCaching folder that is a selection from another folder, not from a Pocket Query.  How do I save it to my iPhone? How do I turn the folder into a list?

Also I cannot find caches by name on the geocaching site - ie.  resting in...

    Any help much appreciated.

For iCaching: since summer 2021 there are the 'List' folders that sync with Geocaching.com, and thus also your phone. To turn a folder to a list: add a new folder and drag all the caches from the folder to this new list and let it sync.

My biggest caveat with iCaching so far is that smart folders only work globally, not per pocket query.

I'd love to see the possibility to have smart folders for single folders.

That's something I figured out now, will be added in version 4 (change in database needed). No ETA, but stay tuned...

  3. I don't know what other MAC users use as a waypoint manager
There are waypoint managers for MacOS listed here:

    http://www.geocaching.com/software/

I don't use any of them myself, so I can't comment. The last time I looked at the ones available for MacOS, none of them could handle corrected coordinates (e.g., puzzle solutions), so I use boulter's Geocaching Basecamp instead. It's essentially an online waypoint manager.

From the screenshot on the iCaching (version 3.0) app, it appears that it supports corrected coordinates now.

Yes that's right, from version 1.1 it supports corrected coordinates

  4. In the announcement forum there's a mention of a new XML-scheme for pocketqueries that will be used from aug 2. But I can't find anything else about it. Would like to see an example, so I can prepare a new version of my program (iCaching for the Mac) for this new scheme.

Is the promised example yet available?
