  1. I'm not sure if the Triton 300 has that capability, but it's something I'm going to look into in the near future.
  2. Hey guys, I'm planning to take a trip to Europe this summer to go backpacking and study at university. I'm kind of sure that I have to buy a new GPS for this (which I don't mind) because mine is labeled the Magellan Triton 300 North American. If I can just download new basemaps, that would be sweet - more info on that is appreciated. Anyway, I am pretty open on where I can go in Europe, my only requirement being that I need to end up in Prague for University after 10-14 days of travel. I'm looking to make these 10-14 days awesome by traveling around to some amazing places. And thus, I am looking for recommendations - on awesome caches, on awesome cities, etc. I think this is the best place to ask, because geocachers really do know the best spots when it comes to travelling. Thanks in advance -Andrew
  3. My friend Chris and I are looking for somewhere over winter break (we're college students) to go camping, hiking, and geocaching. We live in northern NJ, and are primarily looking for somewhere in the northeast. So we're looking for an area in the northeastern US where there are a lot of good geocaches, a lot of great sights, and a place where we can set up camp (preferably wherever we see fit; i.e. - not a campground). Does anyone have any suggestions on locations or advice?
  4. I'm looking into buying a GPS, but in order to make it easiest for caching, I would like to get a device where I can send the cache from the computer to the GPS unit. I've noticed on the cache pages that there is a button for "Send to GPS" and when I click it, it looks for Garmin and Delorme units that are connected. My question is: which units are going to support this feature, and how do I know? I'm very interested in a Garmin 60 CSx, partly because of its numbers in ownership here. Does this unit specifically support this feature? Or am I misunderstanding the feature entirely? Also, about the 60 CSx, Garmin's website says it comes with a 64 MB microSD card. Is that saying it has a microSD slot? Because 64 MB doesn't seem like it would be a lot, and 4 / 8 GB cards are relatively cheap.
