I'd be interested in going over the weekend of the July 24-25th, especially since I only have a few found caches in that area.

I'll be making it there for the Night Sweats 8pm start. ;-)

I'm in for both. Depending on what time we start will depend on whether I can commute with someone. The only night not good for me is Sunday.

I took the Metro stop to Federal Triangle and started caching from the Federal buildings continued on to the Mall, then hit caches along Foggy Bottom... approximatley 30+ caches. Now that the weather is nice, you probably can hit all 30 in one day. There is also a mero stop a few blocks from the Foggy Bottom area if you decide to start there, although I can't remember which stop it is. I downloaded all the waypoints to DeLorme's Street Map program and printed out a map of the Mall area just so I wouldn't miss any caches... there are a few caches a couple of block just north of the Mall, but close enough that you can also bag them.

Thanks everyone! ;-) I've really enjoyed meeting all of you and look forward to many more events with you. We have a great group of geocacher in the NJ/NY/CT area and I'm honored to have geocached at one time or another with many of you.

Funny thing, how is one supposed to find fossils if we aren't supposed to dig into the ground to hide caches to begin with. I don't know about you, but I've never come across any fossils.
