  1. you can change your dnf to a found log but its better to just log a found that way it shows in the history of the cache.
  2. im just wondering what their cache stats have to do with them asking if someone wanted to cache with them. team M.A.N. good luck finding someone up there to cache with.
  3. Wow congrats that's a great looking coin
  4. you can contact you local reviewer. and they can look in to that cache.
  5. I guess i just don’t understand this. because the point of keeping track of the smilies is to see how many caches and cool places you go. if you are able to attend (according to what’s wrote above) 3 events and log 2997 times why are the numbers kept track of or even important. on the first day of caching you could find 10,000-15,000 caches if everyone set the numbers at 999 logs allowed. because that’s only 10 or 15 caches. Does that defeat the purpose of caching. i dont see the reason behind logging more than once. if you have already been there then you couldnt have "FOUND' it again. you would have walked to it knowing where it was. if the cache is changed in some way then archive it, place a new cache and everyone can log it again. if i understand right (which they were before i started playing)thats the way locationless caches were and thats why they went away. and i know some cachers that spent alot of time deleting all of their "extra finds" to make their numbers correct. yes it took time to find and delete them, and yes they lost alot of numbers, but they said it was worth it.
  6. Geo.com Top of screen click play Hide and seek a cache Right side of screen it says online form That should get you there Good luck
  7. you can also use www.mygeocaching.com if you use it when you upload the updates it will give you a list of caches logged more than 1 time. i dont log caches or events more than once. i dont see how thats fair but who am i. when i started using my ipad to log my caches i was logging a lot of caches more than once. ive just gotten in the habit of checking to see if they are logged twice and deleting if they have.
  8. very cool and congrats on a new mystery coin
  9. No offense but no one has solved this puzzle I'd feel even worse giving a hint to a cache that hasn't been found
  10. when i first started cacheing. i went on a hike to a cache. i found the cache and i found a coin. i had no clue what it was but took it with me anyway. when i got home and found out how to log it. i saw that it wasnt listed in that cache but had been missing from another cache in another state for 3 years. i contacted the owner and actually just mailed it back to them.
  11. i would love to be able to look for this cache. my guess is with 81 DNF and 0 finds id say the diff is too low. but i could be wrong. BUT thats alot of DNF's i dont look at hiding a hard cache as ruining the game i think it helps the game. i myself love hard caches. ive been to some caches 10-15 times before finding it. but it will drive ya crazy and i also see no reason to give hints for FTF after the FTF matbe
  12. congrats gatoulis and thanks for the cointest.
  13. try this app iGCT. With this app i can project a waypoint. should help with hiding or finding caches like this hope it helps
  14. They are in some areas but not all also not all poles in an area will have them
  15. You don't once you hide it it's yours I'm guessing you mean 33hides not finds
  16. ill go with 481 today
  17. i agree more than likely its a no. but you can always ask your local reviewer and see what they say but i wouldnt get my hopes up.
  18. love the coin ill guess 156 thanks
  19. also if hes a new cacher it may give him some help as far as its not right to toss down a cache and walk off saying you found it. it could help him in the long run. but you never know because i never dreamed of tossing a container down and logging it unless the owner asked me to replace it while i was there
  20. i have been here my self. id offer to meet him out there and follow him to the cache. after he gave it a good look id help him out if needed. but if he is just going to throw another one down and log it and your going to go back out and check on it anyways. then you may be able to save yourself some time in the long run.
  21. i love this coin i am still trying to make a deal with the owner of the set of coins... fingers crossed
