  1. Okay, well I have some good news, some bad news, and a piece of clarifying nfo. Lets start with the info. The time discrepancy was noticed based on the "found" time, not the time that I conducted the upload. The good news: I figured out the what the problem was. On my account details page, I had left the time zone feature at the default of GMT. This never affected me until I was usng the upload field not feature. Once I selected my time zone field not work fine. The bad news: I suspect this will still be a problem for anyone that caches in different time zones (like myself occasionally). Since you will have to either change account profile while changing zones, or pay VERY close attention to which ones you found on which day during a trip. That is if you want to have it log the corect day. This brings me to my final question. I understand why time zone setting is important in the GPS. But why can't the date displayed in the field notes on the GPS unit be uploaded as a piece of info? Why does it have to be affected by time zone setting after it is written to the memory with a date?
  2. My time discrepancy does not appear until later in the day. When I was in automatic (time zone) it appeared after about 2100 (9pm). When in pacific time zone, the discrepancy occured earlier in the day. Around 4 or 5 pm.
  3. I have recently purchased and am now using the Delorme PN60wse. Overall I am extremely happy with it. I am having one issue with it that I was wondering if anyone has heard of, or knew how to fix. When I upload my "Filed Notes" from the GPS to GC.com, the time/date stamp is changed. It moves the date FORWARD several hours. Thus, as the caching day moves on, my caches will be uploaded with "tomorrow's" date/time. The field notes are correct in the unit. The change does not occur until upload is performed. I have checked my time setting in the GPS and tried both in the automatic zone mode as well as setting it to the zone I am caching in. Same results in both cases. Any help would be appreciated.
  4. Hello all. I am visiting the kettering/Dayton area this weekend (6/4 - 6/8). I was looking for any helpful information. Or any recommended "must do" caches in the area.
