I absolutely understand that. Thing is, I have less than 50 geocaches in my unit currently, but the newly added cache listings (100+ miles) still won't show up on the geocache find page. Still baffled..........

OK, I think I got it. I'm baffled why distance would have anything to do with how they are listed on the unit. Is there another setting I can change for this?

I was thinking perhaps since the geocaches are over 100 miles away they are not showing up on the find screen? I have been unable to find the button to change from nearest to by name as of yet. Any help there?

Thanks for the reply. On the map page the geocaches I just downloaded show up as unopened chests, which is the correct icon. But they still do not show up on my find - geocache screen. Help!

Lately I have noticed that my Etrex Venture HC is not storing geocaches the same way. At first I noticed that some weren't coming up until I deleted others. I was able to get to them. However, now I have downloading geocaches onto the unit and they won't show up at all when I go to finds - then geocaches. But when I look on the little mapping screen they will be on there! Any help you can give me? Do I need to change a setting?

I have to second and third most of the below replies. Anywhere new is my favorite, but if I had to choose, I have a great time with caches out on public hunting land with my dog. She gets a fun workout and I get to traverse creeks and wooded areas while dodging mosquitoes. The caches are usually WAY out there and require a fair amount of effort to get them but boy is it worth it when you do!
