We were and still are relatively new to Geo-caching. Just started this past year and got a cool GPS for my birthday thanks to my hubby. But our favorite cache was one of our first, Cape Ferrelo and then another one later on in the year called The Travel Trailer Cache.

Great new design. Looks awesome , clean and to the point.

That sucks. And they sound like a pretty cool idea to me!

We take our daughter who is 17 months old out. She loves to cache and plunders it when it is first open trying to decide what she should trade for. We take an item for her to trade and an item for us to trade. She walks most of the way on the easy caches and either rides in wagon or on her daddy's shoulders for the harder or longer stuff. We make it a family affair including grandparents and some of our 4H club members.

I've seen were people have placed them in their caches. I've looked for some sort of guide line or format for such, but haven't found any. Do you make these up on your own or is there some sort of form, etc for these? I've recently placed two traditional caches and made my own up, hope they were acceptable.

We just started geocasheing and are currently borrowing my father's GPS. We have been looking at GPS's to purchase and so far the Lowrance iFinder and iFinder H20 seem to be what we are going to settle on. Glad to hear so many positive things about them.
