  1. I'll pass as well, for all the reasons mentioned. It looks like people selling geocoins are going the way of the e-place, pay for the item then get butchered by the shipping. I've said it before and I will say it again here. Unjustified high prices will be the demise of geocoin collecting and it is not if but when.
  2. Today's guess is 71 and 83. Thanks.
  3. I have to agree, for $12.00 + $5.00 s/h you definitely need to deal with e-bay. I was born at night, but it wasn't last night!
  4. I like the coin! Hard keeping track of everybody else's guesses. I say 68 and 93 for my guesses today.
  5. E-mail sent. I have my fingers crossed!
  6. It is way too early in your design process for me to form an opinion one way or the other. A guitar and a compass are involved but there must be 10 million ways to combine those two elements. I hope this coin turns out very beautiful but to be honest, I think you should be a little farther into the process before you ask us what our opinions are. I have a hard enough time determining if I want to buy a coin from the finished artwork since the coin itself often looks different than the artwork, sometimes it is better and sometimes it is worse. I certainly encourage you to proceed with your project but I think you are jumping the gun just a little bit. Sorry, but that is my $.02 worth.
  7. I am trying to buy only the coins that really grab me but the problem is, a lot of coins grab me! I don't have a huge budget for coins so it is stretched all the time. I do pretty well for a couple weeks and then something comes along that I really like and there I go again! Another phenomenon that I am experiencing is buying at least two coins so I have one for my collection and one as a trader/seller/traveler. That alone doubles the coin budget but yet in the long run, it all somewhat averages out since I eventually trade/sell my doubles. This is a very addictive hobby and I will continue to participate until such time as I either get bored, I can't afford it or all the ideas for coins have been done. LOL
  8. Very pleased to have a package in the mail today after such a long time without one: Bee-Ware AC X 1 Bee-Ware AC X 1 GC Element X 1 Nice coins!

Let me see. 1,000 coins at $10 per...... OUCH!
  10. Congrats KeeWee! I never win anything but I know I won't if I don't try. My buddy Wyohunter will probably win this one too, he is unconscious about these contests!
  11. In the past couple days: Compass Rose 2007 Satin Gold X 2 CITO 2007 Nickel X 1
  12. The coins I have been waiting for arrived today! 2007 Wyoming antique bronze X 2 2007 Wyoming antique gold X 2 2007 Wyoming LE gold X 1 2007 Wyoming LE nickel X 1 Thanks Rex and Oak Coins, they are terrific! I will take them to the event in Torrington, WY on Saturday if anybody wants to check them out.
  13. I got my coins today and I have to tell you they are every bit as nice as I was hoping and expecting! I will treasure these coins and hopefully this will remove the stigma attached to a Wyoming coin. You did a great job with the coin Wyohunter and I hope these sell very well. I'll be looking for your next project in great anticipation.
  14. Unusually good week for me! Monday: Run for the Roses Silver X 1 Run for the Roses Bronze X 1 TL4 (Trade) Today: Appalachian Trail NH Reg X 1 Appalachian Trail NH LE X 1 Oak Coins U-Turn BN X 1 Fox Or The Geese? X 1 I also hear the Wyoming coins will be available soon! Can't wait.
  15. Just ordered the 4-coin set. A little high for my budget but I decided I would keep the LE for my collection and have the other 3 for traders. Very nice coin and I really like the edge lettering!
  16. I am having two sets of coins done, one a personal coin and the other an event coin. The event coin will be given away, raffled and sold at the event to raise some money for WyoGeoNet (Wyoming Geocachers Network) and my event. As for our personal coin, we would love to trade with other Geotaggers. We would also be willing to donate a coin to go with others in a charity auction. I can hardly wait to get our coins! They all look awesome!

  18. I just ordered mine, there was no mention of what makes the LE different from the regular edition so I did not order that coin. Also, what metal is this coin made of? Not enough information but I ordered it anyway because I like the design and it has the potential to be a very nice coin.
  19. Justify it all you want, for me it is too much for a geocoin so I'll pass.
  20. I like the coin (I prefer antique metal coins with very little color) and I'd be interested in the Copper, pending cost. I can't commit to buying one until I know how much I'll be paying. Did that not long ago and felt very guilty when I didn't follow through with a purchase because of the high cost. I also didn't notice the size, did I miss that?
  21. Got invoices for both coins and paid both invoices. Very anxious to receive the coins and see how they turned out. Want to get some traveling and traded!
  22. I'd be interested in trading. My trade list is in my sig but I will put a link below as well. Nice coin! My Trade List
  23. Got my coin today and it was worth the wait, bigger than I thought it would be.
