I think I'm going to be a bit controversial (nothing new there, then) and start deleting them.
That has the potential to get you into a confrontation with TPTB which I suspect you would lose, quickly, as to insist upon poetic logs would be an Additional Logging Requirement.
-
Groundspeak may well consider this a virtual logging TB and lock it so it can't be logged!
Can you point me to the official rule/guideline? This may be relevant to one of my coins ...
-
What's involved? (Both the work, please, and the timing.)
-
Strangling the dog was, IMO, excessive.
-
GCVote works with Chrome, too.
Last I saw, Groundspeak were looking into implementing a 'kudos' system as an alternative to a vote. I think the idea is that there'll be a few kudos categories like 'clever container', 'interesting location', 'great walk' and you get to place ticks next to those that apply to the cache you've just visited.
EDIT: found it here.

It's the weekend so no caching now
No, no. Make the most of your Garminless state and visit a few caches armed with nothing other than a map and some notes. Feel the freedom! I much prefer going to single caches, or doing very short series, without the electronics.

That's worth knowing ...Has not made posts in any of the geocaching forums which could be of concern.- ...
By the way, since I've got your attention, would anyone be interested in a copy of the GS database that I harvested with my botnet? I'm currently trading as "TheFrogMustDie" out of Nigeria and will happily take stolen GCs as payment.
( just making even surer than sure that I'm well out of the running )

Krylon camo spray paint is a-m-a-z-i-n-g. But expensive

I'd happily volunteer to help newbies in the Gloucester/Cheltenham area, but I seem to upset people with my honest logs: so, unless you want to join the NTFTC revolution, perhaps I'd not be a good mentor!

The other cat concurs.

I smiley'd that, then posted another idea: first hides questionnaire.

Happy Humphrey draws a misleading comparison between Pharisee's log and others', as the latter were posted about the original container before the problems set in.
-
I was in Lovejoy's "hypothetical" situation very recently. I'd half-rescued a mangled cache, posted a NM, and put the thing on my watchlist. After two months and some more NMs (from other people), I posted a note asking if the cache would be maintained. CO deleted the note. So I NA'd to request reviewer assistance. Within a day or so, the cache was repaired.
I find it much better to approach this sort of thing in the impersonal and transactional manner that cache page notes provides than to email or PM the cache owner.
-
Bah.
Guess I'll have to continue with the honest logs then.
Instead of TFTC, how about LOFTS (logged only for the smiley).
-
A 6/50 type limit would probably reduce the problem. I'd support it. But there will always be people too stupid, or just having an off day, to realise the difference between a good hide and a worthless (or dangerous) one.

Perhaps he's The Stig.

this is the sort of cache which gives caching a bad name.
Then why did you write "TFTC!" in your log?
-
Too hard

That's the spirit ... DING!
Over to you to take revenge

Nope, it's in Estonia.
Oh, come on, don't tell me you haven't memorised the classic Estonian caches
I'll post the answer at 21:00 British "Summer" Time if no-one gets it before then, and follow it immediately with a really easy one.

I said it was BAD ... 'nuff said!

The Atlanta Gal Anniversary Geocoin has made it to Australia and back having started its journey in January 2008. I think it's very close to the owner's home location now ... I keep watching it because I want to see the owner retrieve it and so make me feel good about imposing upon a non-caching colleague to take it to a cache in Australia last year
