I saw in the forums a while back someone was making custom marbles. That was the coolist item I have heard about.

So, Does this mean it has to logged as a DNF ??

This topic seems to come up alot but this is the way I log. If I seek a cache, I feel I can only log with either a DNF or Found. If I had a DNF and tried again at a later time that would be a new attempt. It should end with one of the two logs, found or not. The only time I has used a note is when I revisit a found cache. The only thing I am not certain about is if I DNF a already found cache. I have seen where cache owner's have joked about DNFing thier own caches. How else would you use the logging?

Silly me. I found it. You can run a query on travel bugs in the travel bug section. You can use key words like "Jeep 4x4". Thanks

Someone explained how to make a query for Jeep travel bugs. How can that be done?

I have moved a few travel bugs and seem to have a negative effect on them. I have always watched them to see how well they continue their journey. After I replace a travel bug they either disappear with me being the last to log it or within the next 2 or 3 pickups. I have seen AGA Coins, 2 Yellow Jeeps ( 1 moved and second left in cache for next cacher), Homey the Duck, Mini Key, Lovers Bug, and a White Jeep. Should I run screaming when I see a Travel Bug, just back away slowly or keep trying?

Thanks for the info. I just want to get it there and back. I will probably leave it in the laptop case and play with the laptop if I get bored.

How is the best way to travel with a GPS? I am taking a laptop, should I carry it on in the laptop case or should I pack it in my checked luggage? I am going to Virginia Beach, VA.

I bumped into my first fellow Geocachers and totally panicked. I could not remember the dance thingy, so I flashed what I thought was the Geocacher signal. After I left and drove down the road I realized I was suppose to put it under my chin not on my forehead.... So, I gave them a LOSER signal. Boy, Talking about "NOCLUE" . I will try to do better next time.

I am taking a vacation to Orlando and would like to Geocache during the trip. What would be the best way to do a search for caches along my travel route and destination? Would becoming a premium member make this easier?

I found a coax cable tee. It was in a small cache. I removed it and replaced it with a small compass.

I visited several cache's that have so much stuff it took an effort to put all the stuff back. You had to be creative in your packing in order to get the top closed. When I find this, I try to take a large item and replace with something smaller. What do you do in the same case?

It is loose. I did not know what it was and picked it up to look at it. It is down in Florida on a military installation. I hope to get back down one more time this year. I go down camping and fishing. Now I am going to have to find time to GeoCache.

What determines a benchmark destroyed and what should be done? I believe I know of a benchmark that is set into a piece of concrete about the size of a gallon jug and that concrete is just sitting loose on the sand. Next time I am around that area sould I pick it up or what? I wish I had the # or a picture. I am new to geocaching and benchmarking.

What am I suppose to do if a cache has a whereisgeorge dollar? Do I exchange for the dollar, log it (both websites), and then spend it? Do I just treat it like a travel bug? I have seen them at two site but have left them alone.
