  1. Did the Wales come out in a gold or LE? If it did, I'll trade a gold AJAYHAWKFAN for it.
  2. I activate all of my coins because I don't sell them. I minted them to be placed in caches and I want to track where they go. Most end up being collected but that is ok, they end up going to events. The coins I have traded are activated also for the same reason, I want to know where they go.
  3. Thanks for the trades. I am still looking for the Pennsylvania 2005 gold. Besides the PA coin I would be interested in a Tracking Time coin. Edit 3-22-06 Thanks for all the emails. All trades completed. I hope everyone who traded with me likes my coin.
  4. Thanks for the trades. I am still looking for the Pennsylvania 2005 gold.
  5. I will trade my AJAYHAWKFAN in gold or silver for the following: Benchmark Land Down Under Prague LE Absolute LE Pennsylvania 2005 gold Czech gold My coins are not for sale and will be going out activated. They have their own icon. Please email with questions or interest.
  6. I have found that cache while doing the KS Challenge.
  7. My coins are not for sale. I had 400 silver and 100 gold made. They are trackable and had their own icon. I made them to be placed in caches and given to friends. When I had them minted I had no intention of trading because I am not a collector. However, I did come across 12 coins that interested me and have traded for them. Now that I have those coins my trading days may be over (until some other coin catches my eye).
  8. Looking For: GCC Benchmark I have my trackable, personal AJAYHAWKFAN coin in gold or sliver available. My coins are not being offered for sale. Please drop me an email if interested.
  9. I sent an email to you with the info on my coin. Nice Job!
  10. I am looking for a GCC Benchmark coin, activated or not. I have no interest in any other coin at this time. I am offering my personal Gold AJAYHAWKFAN as the trade. My coin will be activated when you get it. It it trackable and has its own icon. My coins are not for sale. I have been placing them in caches and trading for a few choice coins. If interested or have questions please email me. Thanks
  11. I visited Portland and the NW corner of the State and had a wonderful time. You live in a beautiful area and have some wonderful caches. I enjoyed all my finds. Some of the caches along the coast were remarkable. I can't wait to get back there to cache again. I did have one problem with too many of the area caches, they were rapped in garbage bags or ziplock bags and which became geotrash bags by the time I found them, all ripped up and in pieces. I have cached in 33 states and have never come across so many in plastic like that. I even found a few "caches" that the container was a small zip lock bag. If a non-cacher or a park superintendent came across those caches they would think it was trash and if they look in and saw it was a geocache it would give all cachers a bad name. Just my 2 cents worth. From Kansas City, MO
  12. I can't afford to do all at once, and did not think it was right to ask people to prepay for something that very well may take 3-4 months, depending on sales. I purchased 2 of each coin. I would like to get 2 of each of the remaining. Would you accept payment now for all of them and then automatically send me the coins when they are minted?
  13. You have surprised me, most people don't know about the "official" flag, for those interested here is a link, how many think it should be changed? Official Confederate Flags I have always liked the Stars and Bars more then the battle flag.
  14. I will buy the coins. When will they be available?
  15. I think you missed the point. Should a coin the does NOT represent the state of Missour be called the "Missouri Geocoin"? Look at the coin ( http://mogeo.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtop...0entry13870,) it even has ARK MO Geocachers on it!! THAT coin does not reperesent the state! BTW STEELERS 27- 14
  16. I have seen the artwork on the proposed Missouri Geocoin. (You can see it at the following link: http://mogeo.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtop...t=0entry13870 ) The coin is wonderful. My only point it that it does not represent the State Of Missouri however, it represents the Ark-Mo cachers very well!! My opinion is that when it is logged it should not state "Missouri Geocoin" as he intends. He has the opportunity to call his coin the "Missouri Geocoin" because he was the first to ask for it but it will prevent someone else from being able to make a coin that truly represents the entire state from using "Missouri Geocoin" when logged. That may sound like a complaint. It is not. He can call his coin anything he wants but he did ask for opinions and this is mine.
  17. I am very lucky. I travel a lot for business and my meeting when I travel are at night. That give me a lot of time to cache during the day.
  18. You are 100% right! I travel all over the country for business and when I travel I download traditional caches into my GPRr and head out. I go paperless and information less. I have spent hours looking for a "traditional cache" that had a puzzle that needed to be solved inorder to get the proper coords. Or use information from those coords to find find the next set of coords. That is not traditional cache. I traditional cache should have the coords and a log book. Anything more then that is some other type of cache.
  19. I don't read this forum or post here very often. If I am on a forum it is the MO KS forum, http://mogeo.ipbhost.com/. I find myself here when nothing is posted there and I have nothing else to do.
  20. I checked my first 50 finds and only 7 were archived (14%).
  21. There is always some over the state line I was as well.
  22. TY, I never though of doing it that way. I was always trying to do it by area. It still would be easer to do it by State.
  23. You said that very well!!! I don't think we are asking for very much. In my opinion, Geocaching.com provides a fair service but it could be much better for its paying clients by easing up on the PQ restrictions.
  24. I have worked on it quite a bit and maybe I could get MO down to to 3 but I don't think so. The reason is the population areas. If you run a cache in STL, where I have cached very little, the coverage does not extend out very far from the center of town. For KC, an area I have cached a lot, the 500 caches streach out quite a bit but does not include all of Springfield. I run another for the SE that picks up the Rest of Springfield and another in the NE. If I wanted to cover the entire state I need to run one in the NE as well. What I do for MO I have to do for IL, KS, WI, MN, WV, PA, MD and VA before EVERY trip and sometime travel to more than one state on a trip. Having the ability to down load states would be a lot easer. I already remove the types of caches I will not do on the road, such as events and mystery caches. I am not recommending limiting PQ for others, just an option to run a few states PQ instead of all 5 PQ in one day.
