  1. Just wondering, i created a pocket query of all my finds but the last date that is processes is up to Aug 28, 2013 and does not include my finds from September on. What am I doing wrong? I've ran this twice since that time and I get the same results.
  2. Adjustable wrench, mini screwdriver set and rabbit snare wire.
  3. I used to use cache sense on my bb curve before i changed to bb10 which worked great. I downloaded cache sense for bb10 and it doesn't seem to work the same way. Is there a program that someone can recommend for bb10 for geocaching. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
  4. Spent some time in Alberta and BC and noticed that many caches that we have found have listed a trackable or two but the actual cache has no trackables. It's too bad that not all cachers are aware of the proper procedure when logging them. Hopefully, they are not part of someones collection. Not that trackables are what we are looking for in a cache. I know that this is a topic that has been talked about over and over again, i just wanted to vent.
  5. Wonder if anyone has any opinions of the Garmin Dakota 20 GPS Navigator and how it compares to the Garmin Dakota 10 GPS Navigator. Thanks
  6. We have been using our blackberry for about a year now for geocaching and we use it in conjunction with the blackberry maps app. Problem we encountered yesterday was the blackberry map details weren't coming up. Caches were showing up as we got closer to them but the actual road maps themselves are not being displayed anymore. I was wondering if anybody else was having similiar issues. This was happening where cellphone service was available and have cached there with the unit in the past with no issues. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Shinook & White Juan
  7. Wow, that is interesting to know that app cachers don't need an account to find a cache. One thing is for sure, we won't be releasing anymore geocoins or travel bugs. I should however mention that most of the geocoins and tbs that we released went missing in the United States. I'm not insinuating anything, but it's a fact.
  8. Over the years, we have released almost a dozen geocoins/travel bugs only to have them go missing. We only have one that is still actively being logged and eight that have gone missing after only a few logs. The whole point it to see where they go and the possible pictures of places that you may not get to see. We like finding tbs and geocoins and we do like to watch where they go and where they have been. Its too bad that there are some who see these as something that they can keep. It's frustrating, and we know that this is very common. Others should respect the fact that it is a travel bug with a goal (although we have come across tb's with no goal). Sorry for the rant.
  9. Criteria for obtaining a souvenir for the Canadian provinces and territories are relatively simple: You need to have a logged find on a cache in that province or territory. There may be some exclusions (travelling caches, armchair virtuals, Locationless caches, etc.) but generally, one single find should do. I imagine it will be similar criteria-wise once the next Canadian souvenirs are rolled out. Thanks, we look forward to seeing other souviners soon.
  10. I also found a Souvenir from Ontario on my profile. I was just wondering what the criteria was for recieving one and is it the same for all other provinces?
