You are getting Mapsource and City Select confused. Mapsource is the viewer which is installed on your PC to view and download map/route info to your GPS. It is free and downloaded from Garmin. Latest Version 6.3. City Select (latest version V6.0) is the mapping data (roads etc) - you usually have to pay Garmin for an upgrade.
