  1. Thank you for answering. I have also just reupped my membership which greatly increases mapping power. DiegoDooleys This really isn't related to GPX, but to answer your question, it's often none of the above, but usually close to the center. After you do a zip code query, click the "map it" link in the upper-right corner, and the resulting page will show the "center" and have the coordinates in the URL.
  2. I just have a question about the distances listed when one queries a zip code on geocahing.com. Where are the distances measured from? The P.O. with that zip code? Thanks, DiegoDooleys

I am not sure if this is the correct place to ask this question, but it is a very simple one: When one queries in a zip code for a new location, local caches are listed in order of distance starting with the closest. Where is that measured from? The P.O.? The geographic center of the zip code? Thanks, DiegoDooleys
