DiegoDooleys This really isn't related to GPX, but to answer your question, it's often none of the above, but usually close to the center. After you do a zip code query, click the "map it" link in the upper-right corner, and the resulting page will show the "center" and have the coordinates in the URL.

I just have a question about the distances listed when one queries a zip code on geocahing.com. Where are the distances measured from? The P.O. with that zip code? Thanks, DiegoDooleys

I am not sure if this is the correct place to ask this question, but it is a very simple one: When one queries in a zip code for a new location, local caches are listed in order of distance starting with the closest. Where is that measured from? The P.O.? The geographic center of the zip code? Thanks, DiegoDooleys
