Explorist Locks In File Transfer Mode

Ive had the same problems too with my 600. It doesnt happen all the time, but its a pain when it does. I also use GSAK to upload waypoints to my POI folder and then use the power mode to make my changes to the folder. Ive used a sequence of butten pushes on the 600 and you can do a auto power shutoff without taking out the batter, but I dont have that butten sequence with me as im at work. Hopefully someone will chime in with these sequences. Might want to a search on this furum under explorist 600 and see what pops up. Another option is there is a forum group under yahoo. smokey -

You can also send 500 caches to the POI folder using GSAK. Just send using the SD card or new explorist upder export. This goes into the POI folder and not the Geocache folder. only drawback is you dont get all the detailed info as the geocache folder. in the POI you only get the first 200 caches listed with the detailed name, smokey -
