  1. It is so cool that Podcacher is giving away a Garmin GPSMAP 64! I used this link to access the contest. The lack of terms and conditions don't concern me.
  2. Another workaround is using Google Earth and saving the route as a place, exported as a KMZ for the creation of a new route on GC.
  3. Thank you for your attention to this issue. It affects the updating of all of my cache route PQs.
  4. I also have may main PQ that says it runs, but has not arrived physically in my e-mail. This has been since Monday. Update: It just arrived!
  5. This is not a bug report, but an enhancement suggestion. On electronic devices like pagers, text that can be received is limited in length. Can the coords for the cache be moved near the top of the notification, say following the distance and before the name of the logging Geocacher?
  6. I understand the refs ruling, but need to clarify something. The shared text that most TB owners pasted into their NFL Racer TB pages reads "Someone else has to retrieve the bug after cache placement." Is that not correct?
  7. Interesting. The racers are being carried by the same geocacher ID, however, the logs indicate that 2 members from the same team are swapping off the TBs between stadiums and caches. They could have just as easily created 2 geocacher IDs and legally done the same thing. So what they are doing may be allowed. We'll have to wait on the ruling here. This will be a tough call though, because Team Pez owns one of the leaders.
  8. I am so glad that this worked out and that Simon is headed back to where he was kidnapped from. It was an unusual way to get him over the Atlantic, but it worked! Thanks Chris (and Maria)!
  9. Simon is checked in to the Radisson Edwardian Grafton Hotel and ready to be retrieved. He will be at the concierge desk, which is closest to the front door. Should be easy in and out. I really appreciate that you are picking him up. Just e-mail me if you have any problems pulling in the Shark.
  10. A monday pickup will be great. I will make arrangements for Simon to hang out and determine which desk (concierge v check-in) he will be at for quick in-and-out retrieval. Just post here if your plans change. Once you pick him up, just do a "found" on the TB# since he went straight from Charlotte, NC to London. Thanks from Atlanta, GA.
  11. Simon the Shark TB is on his way to the UK with my in-laws. They are not Geocachers. Simon needs to eventually get to Spain, so this is just a chance to get him over the Atlantic. Simon will be checking into the Radisson Edwardian Grafton Hotel on Friday, 12/5. He will be placed at the front desk by Saturday, 12/6. Can someone that is close to 130 Tottenham Court Road please retrieve him and place him in a convenient cache so that he can start his trip to Spain? Thanks!
  12. quote:Best of all, you have the choice of not hunting this cache if you don't like it. But the point is, you can't make an informed decision about skipping this cache if you don't know all the details. If I know I'm going to have to e-mail halfway through and wait, that's one thing. If I think "I have 3 days in that area, it'll only take two, I'll go for it", then find out at Stage Whatever that I need access to e-mail, it's a little late to decide to skip that one.
