I think I'm still confused with holding, viewing... So is it possible or not to show the cache description using the 60CSx by using GSAK, Pocket Queries or a different tool? If not, what about the 76CSx? Does it have the same problem? Thanks

sorry for the dumb question, but when you say 'hint', do you mean the description that the owner of the cache has added?

I should have read RumJungle's post more carefully. The Tilt DOESN'T use a SiRF Star III GPS receiver. There are many applications for changing the static navigation with this model. Tilt uses a Qualcomm GPS.

yes, the problem is so far nobody has found (AFAIK) a way of switching between the 2 navigation modes with this GPS model.

So far the driving is good. I use TomTom. I haven't used it with Google Maps but I know it works because I have read other people talking about it. I wish somebody else got this PDA so we can compare the perfomance when geocaching. At least for mine, it's impossible to use it for geocaching, because it doesn't update unless you walk for a while.

If I use it while I'm driving (with TomTom) seems to be working fine. However, if I use it while I walk, sometimes the position doesn't update even if you walk for 30 seconds. After that, you get a new position. Then it works for a few minutes and I stop getting new positions. I have tried in different places (no tree cover) and with different programs and I got the same problem. Anybody had a similar problem? Thanks

I downloaded the latest firmware (V5.34) from the Magellan website and I didn't realize that I didn't make a backup of the previous version. Does anybody have a copy of the previous version that could email it to me? Hi all, I took my Sport trak pro to Philadelphia last weekend. Well, it was almost impossible to get a decent signal there because, I think, the buildings. Is this normal? I would like to get some feedback from other people from Philadelphia. Are there any GPS receivers with a better reception? Thanks

Hi First of all, sorry if this has been discussed before, but I think it would be a great idea if a new option "filter by finds/not found" could be added to the existing "filter finds" There are some caches that I haven't found, and I don't plan to go back there again, however every time I list all the caches that are close to my home address, I see those listed on the top of the page. After a while you get tired of see them every time you want a list of the closest caches. Thanks and congratulations for the great website!

garri, pero la cosa es que nos entendamos todos. Si todos supiéramos inglés, yo sólo lo pondría en inglés. Una persona que sabe catalán, también sabe español, así que no veo mucho sentido en ponerlo en 3 idiomas. Y si se pone en español y catalán... pues no sé, no le veo tampoco mucho sentido. Ojalá el mundo entero hablase el mismo idioma, sea cual fuese.

La verdad es que llevas toda la razón. Me puse a hacer una búsqueda y todos los que salían parecían estar puestos por gente de fuera. Parece ser que el geocaching todavía no ha calado mucho en España. De hecho, el otro día se lo comenté a varios amigos por email, y el interés que mostraron es nulo. A mí al principio me pareció un poco chorra, pero cuando me puse a ello (y de esto sólo hace una semana), me ha enganchado por completo. Se descubren un montón de sitios que no conocías, y la verdad es que te lo pasas muy bien. Garri, cuando vaya este verano para España, te prometo que pondré un caché en un sitio muy hermoso cerca de donde vivo. A ver si algún día me das la alegría y me dices que lo encontraste Un saludo

Buenas He estado revisando los mensajes y la mayoría sois de la comunidad autónoma de Cataluña. Me preguntaba si hay por ahí alguien de otras comunidades, y de Andalucía más concretamente.
