I went to update my Lowrance Out & Back tonight and the geocache portion of the gpx file will not read. It shows that it is loaded just when I select find geocache, show all, it says none found. The waypoint portion of the gpx file loads. I can also add each cache individually and it will load just fine. The problem seems to be just the pocket queries. Any suggestions to get working again?

I will do that. I am still relatively new to this hobby but do enjoy it more with family/friends. I did manage to talk my family into going today. One cache at a time I guess. Here's to hope.

The pepper spray and taking the dog are good ideas. I am more worried about wild animals then trouble from other people.

It seems that I am the only one in my family that enjoys Geocaching. My husband will do a couple with me every now and then and I drag the kids along when I can but for the most part it seems that I cache alone. I enjoy it more with my family but not when it feels like I am forcing them to come along. Does anyone else have this problem? Anyone in central WI looking for a Geocache buddy?

I did and I even did one in a cemetery. It was cloudy, gray and windy but not spooky. Still a great time.

If you post a DNF that is later found, can you edit the log when it is found?
