Doing the "bucket-list" drive in our motorhome (no toad) this summer (June & July) from Dawson Creek to Fairbanks -- then on to Denali. Is there any published list of caches along the highway. I can no longer "slew" along the highway on the geocaching map to find them and write my notes. Is there a way to do this, anymore? Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions! Hi Everyone; I used to be able to "click" on a map within a cache description, and then I could "navigate" around within that map -- zooming in or out, and "refresh" to be able to bring up all caches within the area. This was my main "tool" for locating caches I wanted go to after.. Now, that feature no longer functions for me.. Anyone else having this problem?. Has that capability been deleted from the geocaching website?. Please let me know if there might be a way to "restore" it.. Thanks! Emily aka BlackDogGina

I've purchased, activated, and placed a white, vinyl Travel Bug on my 2007 Saturn Vue here in Kerrville, Texas. And there it patiently sits...... Now what?. Must I wait for the off-chance occurance that a fellow geocacher will pull up behind me at a stoplight, or park next to me in a parking lot, notice the familiar "bug" design, and make note of the number to later report on their computer? It seems to me, that these items are somewhere between a cache and a plain old TB; in that people need to be made aware that they exist out-and-about, so they can be on the look out for them to "find" and report. You see, these truly are "finds" and not an item that goes from cache to cache... Or, do I have the wrong idea here?.. Someone please explain to me how this is supposed to work... Many thanks!

I received my update kit today. I have the update program down loaded into my computer; but when I go back to do the "one button update", my computer locks up and nothing happens..... I've tried it three times, and am getting frustrated!.. Any ideas?.. I did finally get the update to respond, and now when I turn on my unit it shows today's date in the start-up; BUT the 20 closest caches to my present location that it shows are NOT the 20 closest caches... in other words it does not appear to have updated anything! I checked against the map of my area, and the unit does not show the newer caches that are close to me. Also, I do not understand how you can download different areas of the world... WHere is that explained?. Thanks for your help!

Does anyone else have this problem?.. I've placed a dozen TB's and Geocoins (at some expense and effort, I might add...), and I don't know what happens to them! Only ONE of them has moved -- and that one only once! What gives? Is everyone keeping them? Is there a solution? I've attached tags to each one of my little traveling friends requesting that they TRAVEL and not be kept.... This is getting very frustrating; not to mention expensive -- what with buying bugs and all..
