  1. Cool! You're totally creative. Put me down for 3 please. Great useful coin!
  2. I'm hoping to find one in some local caches - Just to see them in person - then, of course, I would pass it along to the next cache. Nice coin! Good work.
  3. Glad to find this today. Ordered and paid for one - sweet. I should be on the USA Geocoins email list, but somehow didn't get an email about this - - So I'm glad the info got let out - Wouldn't want to miss this.
  4. Thanks for all your input and researching in the forums. I didn't find out much more than my research had already turned up, but I feel a lot better about this now that there more than me coming to the same conclusion. Think I'll go ahead and get on with my plans. Jhwk briansnat Team RedHawk The Leprechauns Moose Mob New England n00b Thanks for your help. I'll email you when I get these shirts made and send you a free one! Happy Caching!
  5. I've searched the web a lot looking for any copyrights concerning this. Haven't come up with any, obviously. Maybe I don't know all the right places to look - but I'm doing my best to be thorough.
  6. LOL!! Seriously, thanks for your help. It just seems like so many geocaching things become "community property" - and others find a way to profit. I don't want to steal someone else's idea, if there is AN originator.
  7. I'm stumped and need some help. Does anyone know who made up this saying - "I use multi-billion dollar military satellites to find tupperware hidden in the woods." I've asked the guy on eBay selling the shirts and he doesn't know - there's also a few selling shirts with that saying on Cafe Press website. Asked birdsong-n-bud since he has it as his forum sig., but he said he didn't make it up either. Everyone seems to have seen it once and liked it -- No one seems to know who coined the phrase. Anyone know? I'm wondering because I'd like to make up some t-shirts with that saying and my own design, but don't want to use anything without permission. Thanks for your help.
  8. THANKS EVERYONE! It worked. I'll close this up. Cache on!
  9. I know one of these ideas will work - Thanks for your help!
  10. Yeah. You're probably right. The only thing that complicates things is that I would like to keep the gc handle on the smaller account - but I want all the logs and finds on the other acct. Do you think I can have a user name that was already in use if I cancel that account and it isn't in use now? Thanks for your help.
  11. Does anyone know if you can merge two geocaching accounts and turn them into one account? My wife has one and I have one, but we always geoache together and think it will be easier to log everything once - Do we just need to cancel one and continue on the other? Any ideas?
  12. Okay - I'll try that! Maybe this post will help mine along as well. PLEASE come today, please come today! I can't stand the excitement! Ahhh! Mail came - no coins yet. Didn't work. Guess I'll just have to be patient.
  13. It's all good. I know you've got a lot to work on. Just wanted to confess to accidentally taking too many. However you work it out is fine with me. Nice coin! Keep up the good work.
  14. Oops! I did the same thing with the LEs - actually ordered 3 first time, then ordered 2 more for a couple other cachers who weren't home. So, I guess I paid for 5 LEs all together - when I was supposed to only get 2. They're not all for me though - but no official group either. Sorry about that. Just let me know - how it goes. If we need to be refunded for the 3 LEs - then that will work too - Whatever's fair. Don't want to cheat someone else out of them either.
  15. Wait List Don't suppose there's any hope now? Went out geocaching and missed it!
  16. Whew! Just got order in on time - excited to see the coin!
  17. Count me in! Put me down for 5 standard coins. Thanks.
  18. So we're talking and talking. Where do we go from here? When do we get to start submitting these waymarks? Let's get going.
  19. Great ideas here! It seems the key to refining these categories is making the posting criteria for waymarks very specific. These category divisions are only the start. Since religion can be such a personal thing anything can really be posted as a 'significant' site. The category or subcategory moderator is really the crux of making this all work. These sites really do need to be places that will be of interest to more than one person. I certainly don't want to wade through a tedious list of waymarks.
  20. You've made some great points! I agree that things really could go bonkers (and probably will ). The icon idea is great. This could turn out to be a really cool deal if we set it up right! The religion category could work too - but then we get into the trouble of places that could go in more than one category (guess that could happen a lot anyway). Like is a cathedral a historical site or religious one? Identical waymarks will probably end up in several categories. That's one to ponder... hmmm.
