  1. I just purchased a Dakota 20 and was curious if there was a way to upload my finds all at once like I can with my PN 40, or do I have to go through them one at a time like with my Rhino 130? Does anyone use a Dakota?

    TB Page Photo

The photo is complete, showing a handsome young man in a red shirt. Using FireFox. We use IE8 or FF. Use FireFox upon recommendation by a relative (computer nerd whiz ), primarily for geocaching. I switched to FF...wow, what a difference. Now to figure out how to use it. Thanks for the assist!

Ah! I see. So, if you are using IE, then you have issues. But if you use another browser, then you are good. What are the benefits to switching to FF or even Safari? Or should I just continue to use IE? http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=2487883 This is the page of TB that I had in question. If you click on one of the picture links, that was what was on the page originally. Thanks for everyone's assistance.

Is there a fix coming out for the photos on the TB page? Since the update, my (and many others) photos are covered by the text box and cut off. Am I doing something wrong or is it an issue waiting to be rectified?
  5. I've used a couple since I started. -orange cones in front and behind the truck and a roadguard vest work wonders and wearing a hardhat makes it all the more professional looking- -I have found that just having a clipboard with you helps a lot- -My brother and I used the "Geocache Inspector"- I have been a Telephone Pole Inspector, Ranch Fence Inspector, Photographer, and best of all a -just stopped on the side of the road to make a phone call! Whatever you use, have a good back story.
  6. I started out with a Garmin 72 and it worked really well. I was in the same situation as you as far as not wanting to invest a lot of money into something I won't do often and since I had the GPS72 already, I just went ahead and used that. I couldn't download to it but I wasn't too worried. Since then I have jumped head deep into caching. I recently purchased a DeLorme PN40 and have gone totally paperless. It's all about how much will you go out. Good Luck on your decision.
