  1. count me in for one, whatever the price, maybe two if I'm not particularly broke at the time (I'm always "ordinary" broke)
  2. This is tempting. If only I wasn't a Colorado Avalanche fan!
  3. I use one of my archived caches to hold coins that I am keeping but don't want in my inventory. I agree, it's misleading to people who are searching, especially if they are searching specifically for a certain coin. But then again, I almost never find coins that are listed in a cache to actually be in the cache.
  4. A Kawasaki rider is praying in Memphis, keep us posted.
  5. Yesterday, actually, but I got CropCircles and a Celtic Cross!
  6. Missed the new lighthouse, I can trade a Flyin V Bronze, AL, IN, AK, ME, San Fran, or RI
  7. I actually think this one is kinda funny, although I didn't decrypt it by hand...in the rain...after hunting for a half hour: On a real Mickey Mouse cache: "M I C, K E Y there's no hint for U!"
  8. Tennessee's first geocache was, and is, LPS001.
  9. Dang, I'll be out of the office. Would someone who gets one like to trade for a Lowracer? Edit: Trade made, thanks!
  10. November oscar tango november echo charlie echo sierra sierra alpha romeo india lima yankee
  11. An AeroHound, and... A GA Peach postmarked 6 December! 24 days from Cincy to Memphis
  12. Memphis area: JamieZ He doesn't place many, but the ones he does are well thought out and entertaining!
  13. I agree with AG, 1.75 is about right. Don't skip the numbering, I wish I hadn't. A 2" coin is just barely going to fit in my coin display, the screw coin and ammo can coin, for instance, do not fit. If it's oval, I'd make sure 2" is the widest point.
  14. 100 -0- I'm down to 3, I may sell one on eBay, may not, haven't decided yet. -0- About 40-50, rest were given to friends or placed in caches 100 was all I could afford, more than I could afford really
  15. Very cool! I'm honored to have made it into the card, that must have taken a while! Merry Christmas to all y'all, too! {Edited to make it plural!}
  16. There are about 30 that start with "WTF." I did find one other tracking number that was "WT(insult)." (not the same one referred to by the OP, which may or may not be an insult, depending on where you're from! ) BTW, the activation code for the OP's coin has been removed from the online database on the GOWT website, so only the OP has the code to activate the coin.
  17. The wording is fine...but totally useless. My first (and only) USA geocoin's goal was simple; "to NOT disappear!" I even pointed out where you could still buy them (at the time) for $5. It lasted less than 2 weeks in one cache, never logged.
  18. I like it. I was having to scroll to see any new threads at all!
  19. My NC coin had the SAME LITTLE SLIT cut in the end! Fortunately, the coin was still in it! In defense of bubble mailers, very few mailing envelopes would stand up to whatever made that nice, clean, straight cut!
  20. Cool, I'd buy some. Isn't the "TN" prefix already being used for the regular TN coins?
  21. Neither rain, nor snow, nor gloom of night, shall deter them from delivering a damaged, empty, padded envelope to your mailbox!
  22. Thanks for the input, live and learn. I think plastic or Tyvek padded envelopes would have worked better than the paper padded ones, too. Mostly I learned never to undertake such a large distribution project again!
  23. I was gone for a few days and had a big haul! OKNA UK Screw Flyin V 2nd Canine Red Handed NY AND I got a Johnnie Lacey from a source that shall remain nameless (but exceedingly nice!) Unfortunately, while I was gone, I also got several emails about damaged GOWT envelopes, so I'm really PO'd at the PO!
