I'll be in Sweden by next weekend and hopefully doing some caching. Being somewhat new to this still, I am wondering if I am doing something wrong. Here is my problem: I am on Vancouver Island and when I try sending a cache in Sweden to my gps through the computer, it says it was written successfully, but it doesn't show when I click on geocaches. It does show in "recent finds" though. Is this because I am too far away or am I missing a step here somewhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I remember from the last time we were there that the outlets are different, so I will allow for that. Thanks for the advice. I am looking at buying a garmin etrex, just don't know which one.

I am totally new to this although I have gone out a number of times with a co worker who has a gps. My question is this: I am going to be buying a gps soon and am planning a trip with the family to Sweden this summer. Will I encounter any problems trying to geo cache over there with a unit that I buy here? (I really know very little about all this!) Thanks.
