So it will be possible to opt for text-only emails instead of HTML ones? (which is what everybody writing in this thread seems to want) Cool!

+1 HTML in emails is completely unnecessary and unwanted. Please provide a profile setting that lets me receive old-style plain text mails instead of these "fancy" HTML ones.

No, I logged it with the correct date, of course: August 20th, 2011.

I went geocaching with some friends on August 20th, 2011. I see that they received some souvenir because they went caching on that date in their profile, the International Geocaching Day souvenir. Because I was occupied otherwise, I didn't get to log my own finds on that day online. I have done so a couple of days/weeks ago. However, I haven't received that souvenir myself yet, although I received the Leap Day 2012 souvenir instantly after logging my founds/attends. Am I going to get that souvenir eventually after a site update, or have I passed some kind of time window for receiving the souvenir?

Apparently not, as one is greeted with a default cPanel info page when accessing the site. Dunno since when this started, but it's an issue for over an hour.

As OpenStreetMap seems to be more widely known in Europe, and hence more fleshed out and up to date due to volunteer work, I already know the maps and I am fine with them. Now that thousands of Geocaching users have forcibly been informed of the existance of the project, there is the hope and expectation that some of them will contribute to the project as well by GPS tracks and data, being perfectly suited and equipped for this task, improving the OSM map quality even further. However, I couldn't find an official response to these thoughts and concerns of user HansHafen yet, which I'm reposting from another thread here. Any word out there about this?
